Dawn of Legacy Immigration, truly lives up to her name and her law firm. My first consultation was a phone consultation, she told me I could apply for NATs myself as it’s a straight forward process and would only take my case if it needed a professional approach. Dawn is a straight shooter and will be at the point. For my NATs interview, I was nervous but she calmed me down till the very minute. My decision after the Interview was pending and we got hit with a RFE. I perhaps would not have able to procure evidence without her help with only 3 weeks to turn around. She activated her network of lawyers to solidify my case, we however lost a lot time in getting that evidence due to logistical reasons. Dawn is the best immigration lawyer I’ve met! I was researching a lot before deciding to hire her. I’ve met and talked to more than 20 lawyers in the DMV area and honestly there was no one as personal and professional as her. While other lawyers would tried to expedite my visit, she took her time OVER THE PHONE- spent 40 minutes with me explaining me what would be my best option. That was unpaid phone call, where she just looked out for my best interest. Right then and there I knew she is amazing ! Me and my wife went to meet Mrs. Dawn for consultation yesterday morning which is Monday July 29th, the appointment was at 9:00am but we were running late, we arrive at her office at 9:30am, when we got her office she came out and welcome us with smiling face and looks so humble and friendly and took us to her office to talked, I asked her a questions and she answered all my questions in detailed and also she asked me questions too. At the end of our conversations she said that she can’t help me, I don’t need to explain why she can’t help me because take too long to explain but I really satisfied with her decision even she can’t help me, our consultation duration around 25 minutes, at the end of our conversation she said I don’t have to pay the consultation fee because she can’t help me, I was surprised, to be honest she has a gold heart, she won’t take advantage of her clients, I did consultation with 3 different lawyer couple years a go but she is nothing compared with those 3 lawyers. I retained Dawn for my EB1-B Outstanding Researcher/Professor I-140 petition (premium processing), which was recently approved. With the application demanding gathering of a lot of evidence & writing a lot of recommendation letters, it was a quite laborious effort on both our sides. Although I did not retain Dawn to write my letters, she was helpful in editing and provided guidelines on the content and aspects of the letter that needed focus & highlight. She was available by text/call for any queries. She had a checklist for the items I needed in the package when we started and also went through the entire package together in person before sending it out. I retained Dawn’s service after coming across her many positive online reviews when looking for an immigration attorney in the area to assist me in applying for a green card. Dawn handled my EB2-National Interest Waiver case and also filed all the paper work for my Adjustment of Status (I-485). This week I was informed that my green card was approved and I am filled with gratitude for all Dawn has done in making this possible. Dawn is hard working, detail oriented, compassionate and straightforward (which I appreciated the most). I took a chance in reaching out and it was the best decision I could have made, I’ve heard horror stories from friends and their experiences with immigration attorneys for seeming simple cases, my experience with Legacy Immigration, LLC was great. I don’t think any lawyer would have worked as hard as Dawn did, and I never felt like I was just another “client” for her. Not only did she answer my initial phone call after hours, she took the time to discuss how my case would work and what work would be required on my end. During our first meeting, I saw just how much Dawn paid attention to detail when she took note of everything I said in relation to my work as a scientist (down to sketching figures) and how these would be incorporated into building a strong case. She addressed all my concerns and at that first meeting she outlined a timeline for when I would submit certain documents and when we would file my case. My wife and I came to Legacy Immigration a week prior to our Notice to Appear date in hopes of filing for a green card ASAP. Dawn met with us for a consult immediately, even though it was after business hours, and made it clear to us that filing for a green card while in our situation would result in a denial and a loss of our filing fees. Nonetheless, Dawn called the immigrations court during our consult and discovered that the Notice to Appear had not yet been filed with the courthouse. With this new knowledge, Dawn informed us that if we can get the green card filed before the notice is filed with the courthouse, then USCIS would have jurisdiction over the case - not DHS. Upon retaining Dawn, she was able to diligently help us file our 370 page green card application in less than 24 hours! Dawn successfully represented my mother through a complicated green card application process. I give Dawn high marks for integrity, good judgement, excellent customer service, speed, and attention to detail.
