Despite a few hiccups, these movers pulled through. Good customer relations. I appreciate that representatives are available to speak on the phone, and that they address concerns in a satisfactory manner. So here I was in the middle of moving and overwhelmed by the BIG pieces that we moved hours before. I'm aching and tired but still had to move my bedroom furniture.  I went on Yelp and decided to read the reviews of this company. Desperate to finish moving, I applied for a quote. To my surprise Sam called me back within minutes. After I provided him with the details he was able to accommodate and send movers within two hours. These guys were professional and respectful they were able to remove all my furniture, AC units and television within 30 minutes. They sent five men to get it loaded in one day. I was impressed with their organization, courtesy, professionalism, and team work. All five worked very hard. They wrapped all furniture, tables, chests, sofa, etc. They also padded everything as they loaded. They were very careful with both my contents and the houses. We had no damage of any kind. I can honesty say that Last minute relocation is a godsend! I honestly love the service this  company provides. I had a move from the Bronx to Rochester and after things went wrong with my previous company, I called these guys up and they were able to help me move that same day. I honestly didn't even think I would be able to move that same day but they fit me in their schedule. The movers that came to help me move my things were so kind and friendly. I have to say that I have had a amazing experience so far hiring Last Minute Relocation for my move from CT to TX.  After getting the run around from so many other companies and reading mediocre reviews about other companies I decided to contact LMR after reading all positive reviews on them.   Upon initial contact I spoke with a representative named Demetre and he provided me with excellent costumer service, he walked me through everything step by step and even called me back if there was a question he could not answer right away. By talking to him you could really tell that this company really does its due diligence to assure quality costumer service and affordable pricing.  The day before my scheduled move date I got a call from the company providing me with their estimated time of arrival.  The day of moving day (today) I got a call from the movers confirming  the time they would be here, and sure enough, they arrived on time and in uniform!  I was greeted by three guys and they were able to load all my belongings within an hour.  They rapped everything and packed everything neatly on the truck, and they did not try to scam me and charge me for that like some other moving companies do. They were all great guys,  walked me through everything and provided the paperwork regarding my move.  There were no hidden fees and the price remained the same as what I was quoted over the phone.  My only advice to you all as readers of Yelp and prospective clients, please be sure to truly take a full inventory of all your items BEFORE your scheduled move.  I believe the reason why I had a smooth transaction with this company was because I was honest about all the items I had.  Originally when I first called I was very vague about my inventory list and therefore they gave me a very low quote,  but when I got closer to my move date and I read about the horror stories from other people using companies that shook them down for more money once everything was on the truck,  I called LMR back and gave them fair estimate of what I had,  that correction to my inventory list did end up costing me an additional $250.00, but in the long run it was worth it. I highly recommend this company. Hopefully the quality of service will remain the same once I get to Houston,TX and receive my belongings.  I will update this post once I get there. I called last minute relocation on a Monday, and on Tuesday I was completely done moving by 3PM ! The three guys came in, wrapped everything with quickness and were out the door in less that 2 hours, including disassembly of furniture. Got a good deal!! When you call the young man answering the phones is very polite and is very clear about how the time starts when they leave their office and what the extra fees are if you go over your time. They were polite, professional, and fast. These are real movers trained how to wrap and maneuver stuff properly...they aren't just some college kids doing a side gig. Take my advice and do not hire a moving company with least amount of experience just because they give you a lower quote. They end up damaging everything beyond any repair . I know this from my numerous pathetic experiences with moving companies during relocations. Hire a company like Last minute relocation which served in this business for a long time. The two things you really need from your moving company are for them to be understanding of your demands and be really efficient with their work. I think Last minute relocation delivered on both the grounds quite substantially during my move. The four men who took only 4 hours to wrap up my 17 years of hoardings truly deserve an award for being the most efficient. We hired Last minute relocation just a couple weeks ago to move our belongings from Astoria, NY to Topeka, KS. These guys were just fantastic.
