What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We utilize cloud-based software integrations to assist our clients with their bookkeeping, accounting, financial modeling/projections, tax preparation, and business operations needs.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
The business operator needs to be able to focus on client-facing tasks that will help to grow the businesses top-line but all of this is for not, without the proper operations and back-off systems in place to manage cash flows, client and vendor account relationships and internal controls. You don't have to be the best numbers person to operate and scale a business but you need to have someone on your team to make sure that the numbers are running fluidly. Business is all about properly allocating your time and understanding your opportunity cost. If your time is best spent growing sales instead of your managing your books, then hire someone who you can trust to get the job done for you.
What do you love most about your job?
The ability to interact with a variety of different businesses and personality; to learn what makes these businesses and people tick and figure out how our firm can fit into their model and help them grow their business more efficiently.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The desire to be able to pursue the work that I found mentally and emotionally stimulating. Everyone at Lanyap has the desire to find solutions to problems that aren't easily solved; by building this sort of culture, I feel like we are able to go home at the end of the work day a bit more satisfied than we would have been able to do elsewhere.
Why should our clients choose you?
Client interaction more than anything else. You can't truly help a client grow their business without really understanding it from the inside out. This level of service and interaction is something that we work diligently to provide on a daily basis.
