We had a wonderful wedding reception catered by Land & Sea Catering on May 22nd, 2010 at Quiet Waters Park.  From initial consultation to clean up after the event, Michelle O'Brien and staff were always accommodating and professional.  Unlike some other local caterer's, Michelle was willing to work within our budget and still provide outstanding food and service.The only thing I regret is not letting Land & Sea handle everything.  Although I didn't realize it at the time, they typically handle all table and linen rentals through trusted third party companies.  We went with another company and they did well but it required a lot of unnecessary coordination on our part.  You have enough to worry about on your wedding day!  Even though we used a different rental company, Michelle still reviewed our order with them and saved us from not having enough tables and linens a few days before the event.On the day of the event, Land & Sea was prompt and efficient.  The service was attentive and the food was perfect for a late afternoon meal.As I mentioned, we got our cake through a cake baking friend and it was a minor disaster.  It "fell" on the ride over and was in pretty bad shape. As I was preoccupied with my eminent nuptials, I saw Michelle step in and they did the best they could to shore up the cake and present it.  Again, just go with the full service, you won't regret it!As for food we had:cocktail hour with assorted cheeses and fruittortellini pasta (very good) crab dip (lot's of crab in here!), fresh salad w/ goat cheese, sesame chicken tenders w/ thai sauce (just the right amount of kick) and cocktail ham sandwiches with honey mustard.We sent a lot of leftovers home, there was more than enough for everyone.We had an amazing wedding and reception, thanks to Land & Sea for making it that much easier!
