They replaced my phone with a screen that has a dead pixel. When I called them to inform them of the dead pixel, they acted like they didn't know what a dead pixel is. They have no refund or replacement policy.My new screen also has the most horrible touch sensing. They must've used a lower tier screen and the one Apple provides. I dropped my computer off here a month ago and returned yesterday to find that my computer wasn't even fixed and no part was ordered. I called multiple times within the month and the workers kept telling me the piece was ordered and they're waiting for it. Don't go there, they are so incompetent and unprofessional. Â Took them forever to unlock the phone. First they said it will take 30-45 min, then they didn't know how long it's gonna take because it was rebooting from iTunes. Updating this to one star since the manager sent me a very rude message stating that his sign stated that he was closed at 2:30 on Fridays. I wasn't even there at that time. No apology, nothing. He also told me to make sure I read the full sign before writing a review since it could hurt a business. His sign said, "Back in 10." Do you know what else hurts a business? They are extremely fast to respond and to fix any issue you might have. I've crashed screens numerous times and got them fixed in 20 minutes. Never have a had an experience that was so unpleasant, Javed Patel is the Manager  of LA IPHONE REPAIR  & UNLOCK CENTER and should learn the importance of customer service. I took in an Ipad that needed a new screen and  left without a receipt, was unable to return right away due to having to leave town. I realize that it was left longer than 30 days. I called to ask if he still had it and I received the longest lecture of the length of time that had passed, why did it take me so long to come and retrieve it etc....etc... when I was allowed to finally speak I was interrupted continually. I simply wanted to say that I was going out of town again and if he still had it my nephew would pass by and pick it up but he never let me finish. I realize it was my responsibility but again never given the opportunity to finish my sentence. The end result is he didn't have it. I first went there to sell my old iPhone 8. The owner (JP) inspected the phone and said "this phone is in mint condition. I might have a buyer for it ." He made some calls and found me a buyer within minutes. And the phone was sold! At a much higher price than what Apple was offering me for trading it in. What more?! JP didn't charge me a penny (as his commission) for the transaction. And just said "it was done in goodwill". I brought my iPhone 5s for a battery replacement. The employee stated that it would be $45 to replace it. When I came back, he tells me that he had to replace the screen, which had no problems with it when I brought it in. He said he had to replace the screen because it wouldn't turn on when he replaced the battery. So instead of paying to get the battery replaced, now he wants to charge me an extra $20 for replacing the screen too. Now the phone is worse than when I brought it in, the screen isn't even the right color, the original screen is a white border, they replaced it with a black border screen that doesn't work properly, part of the screen doesn't even allow you to tap on it when selecting something. Also the screen isn't flush with the phone, the bottom part sticks out. When I came back to get it another employee begins to be irate and tell me that my phones screen was broken and that it's my fault that it's not working. I had cracked the screen of my iphone X and was able to bring it in to the shop the same day. Their rates were extremely fair so I handed over my phone. Within 15 minutes they had replaced my screen and it was a virtually brand new phone. The employees were extremely knowledgeable and courteous and went above and beyond to fix my screen. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to do one for this business because every dollar I spent here was a waste. I cracked my iPhone screen a while ago and finally decided to change it. I found these guys from Yelp and went over. He seemed nice and I thought he did a good job until I realized the quality of their screens are SHIT. My phone fell the next day (my fault, I know) but it wasn't too hard and the whole screen popped out. That's never happened in my life? So I went and paid AGAIN for a new phone screen and the SAME THING happened again. This is a default of either the way they replace the screens or the poor quality screens they use. I've had an iPhone for many many years and have dropped it many times and nothing like this has ever happened.
