I love Nicaraguan Food. BC I'm Pinolero Papa. This the Best Nuca Food in the Bay Area. But disappointed no arroz con leche, no Chicharrones, come on a Nica Place w/o Vigoron.

A very quaint and charming restaurant. Finally!!! Omg!!! So glad to have found a good Nicaragüense restaurant in Coco county! No more driving to San Francisco. I must say the food was actually better at La Fritanguera. Brought my wife here, whose second generation Nicaraguan. The nacatamale masa was a little less lemon-y than she’s used to. And the first batch bunelos wasn’t cooked all the way through. I was a little hesitant to try Nicaraguan food because Im kinda picky but OMG I'm so glad i did!!!! Everything is so flavorful and delicious! The queso frito literally changed my life!!! My favorites are the chicken taquito appetizer, the El Vegetariano and the Pollo Frito (fried chicken). The Cacao and Pitaya con Limon specialty drinks are also my favorite and the Guava Pastelitos made by Nicaraguan Flavors are to die for!!! Really good authentic Nicaraguense food. The only downside is the space. The restaurant it self is pretty small but definetly worth going and enjoying some delicious food. I recommend the sampler plate.
