Great service, paella and tapas with locally sourced ingredients. The tuna chimichurri was delicious .The house made pimiento ginger was excellent, not at all sweet and perfect paired with mancheho cheese. Excellent service when we finished our meal chef Eric came to our table what an amazing chef and person he explained his products to us the paella mix his number one seller, also house made chimichurri, pimiento ginger jam and more .The wine selection is nice with a diversity type of wines .We will be back for sure. If you are looking for a truly authentic Spanish food experience, this little gem of a restaurant is your must-visit destination. Tucked away in an easy-to-overlook and unassuming location, you will find a high-quality selection of foreign and domestic cheeses and hams, and very nice appetizers (tapas). The owner is a three-time Austin-area Paella contest winner, and deservedly so. I had a chicken-seafood-pork paella and didn’t miss the typical seafood component at all. The owner is the chef, his lovely wife is a server. Both are engaging and very charming. Enjoy your visit - great food awaits you! Totally loved it. 5 stars. More...

Don’t go here for the ambiance, go here for the food. A European style shop with tables, the food was amazing! Will definitely go back!

First time eating at La Bodega. It’s a small place with a few seats and a big focus on quality & taste. Very casual but we knew exactly what to expect after hearing from friends and looking at online photos beforehand. They appear to be set up for take out and we’ve agreed to add La Bodega to our rotation for take out. Worth a trip for the daily paella selection! More...

The food was amazing but the lighting and table set up was like being in the entrance of a bodega/grocery store, so as long as you aren’t looking for a fancy dining room atmosphere, you’ll be impressed! The food and drinks were delicious and perfectly cooked and we had a free little wine tasting while we ate. We will be back :)Ps: We had the seafood paella, sangria, and the mar y Tierra More...

First time eating here, or traditional Spanish food for that matter. Wow! Food was amazing not only in taste but value as well. Only disappointment was that certain menu items were sold out for the day. Will definitely be back. More...

Had a surprisingly good evening at La Bodega on Valentine's Day! Had never seen nor heard of this little place before but decided to try something new. So happy we did. The tapas we're all amazing and the entrees we're fantastic. Wonderful Paella and Shrimp Diabolico. It is a tiny little place but packed. They will need to expand if the food stays this great. Oh! And a flamingo guitarist was playing! It was charming! More...
