They purchased the company I had worked with for several years. I informed them I was going to discontinue services and they continued drafting our payment for 2 more months claiming we had not notified them. Please do not use this company they are possibly the worst CPA firm on the face the the planet.
Note there are no testimonials on there websites, because they are the worst around.
I have been trying for over 6 months to get them to render service I’ve paid for, they still haven’t done it.
I also think I will have to pay another CPA to check their work.
I’ve even talked to the VP of the company, no help. Sometimes they don’t even know who works there or who’s on vacation.
My account manager Tammy Johnson has no clues who she supervises. My tax prepare Justin Day refuses to respond to email or calls.
Oh yeah Tammy refuse to answer most of the time too.
Please save yourself some heartache and pain!!

I have used the Ray Tax group for the last 3 years and they have managed to lower my tax bill each of those. There is no cost unless they lower it, and it really takes some participation from the home owner in the way of pictures and details to help them really get it lowered significantly. My wife and I engaged the services of Ray Tax Group to appeal property tax increase on our property located in Smith County, TX. All we need to provide was our previous tax and the upcoming (increased) tax invoice. They did the leg work and did not charge us until we receive the revised invoice from Smith County. I have found the Ray Tax Group to be very easy to work with and to be very helpful in pursuing reduced tax appraisals against my property. When they get a reduction to my taxes, I pay a percentage of the reduction to RTG; if they don't get a reduction, I owe nothing. Even though I spent hours preparing for an extensive meeting with the Tarrant County Tax Appraisal Group, my data had no effect on the unfair appraisal of my home. I contacted Ray Tax after this and Ryan Ray actually called me and talked about what strategy he would used to reduce the taxable value on my home. It worked and my taxes were reduce substantially.
