Wow! Just wow. I have only received my previews of pictures and I am in awe of Kristie! She seriously is worth any dime you spend on her work! She came to our hotel for getting ready pictures with pleasure then rushed to the venue to get all of the most amazing shots! This poor girl was running around like crazy without a single complaint! Kristie was so easy to work with and affordable! We found them through Facebook and were pleased with everything! Kristie made sure we had the best day and got all the perfect shots! The photo booth was also a huge hit! All of our guests were obsessed with it and super excited they were able to get their pictures immediately sent to their phone! Where do I even start?! Working with Kristie has been the absolute best experience i’ve ever had! I had been sorting through messages with other wedding photographers and was immediately drawn to the photos she took. Her prices were also extremely affordable for the services provided and she goes above and beyond to ensure everything is awesome. She arrived on time and set up everything and then began her magic with photos. Last minute, we found out the groom and groomsmen had to get ready across the street in a hotel and she went OUT OF HER WAY to get photos of them getting ready which we so appreciated. My husband and I have never had photos taken before so her instructions and poses with photos were super helpful and helped the photos turn out amazing. I also booked a couples session with her for military photos and she came out in the windy, 30 degree weather and took photos of us. She meets your needs, and then goes above and beyond to do more. The photo booth was a huge hit as my wedding as well and all of our guests can’t stop raving about that and the photos of the wedding we received back. Kristie and her partner are wonderful!! We booked the wedding package that allows a free engagement session and we were thrilled with the results! At the wedding, they got there over 30 minutes early to set up, but not only did they set up these equipment, they helped us finish up our last minute details. They knew we didn’t have a DJ and brought their own speaker for us to use and when my WiFi went out, Kristie played a wedding playlist she had on her own phone! Not only are their pictures the best I’ve ever seen (and should be put in a magazine) but they are both great people who you can tell do the job because they love it!! I honestly do not even know where to start, Kristie is absolutely one of the most talented photographers I have ever seen, and probably the most talented in Jacksonville. My fiancé and I without knowing anyone who had used Kristie, found her on Facebook and decided we would try here for our engagement photos, we wanted our photos to be unique and boy did Kristie meet that. She showed up, her and her assistant ready to do whatever necessary to get the perfect shot. We were on villano beach just a few days before Hurrican Irma reach Jax, and even Kristie and her assistant got knee deep equipment and all to get the best angles and lighting. After that, without even seeing the pictures, we knew we had made the right choice. Once we received the photos from the engagement, I couldn't even dream the wedding photos up that good...But sure enough she could picture and make them become a reality. They were beautiful and Kristie captured EVERY moment from beginning to in so perfectly. INCLUDING my Bridal Boudoir, Ladies I wanted to do one of these so bad for my future husband, but I was nervous, and quite frankly hadn't seen many photos that didn't end up looking trashy, Kristie encouraged me, since I had it on my questionnaire I would regret it if I did not do it, she would walk me through it. I can't say enough great things about Kristie! At first I was most excited about the value but Kristie and her team added so much to our special day. Kristie was there getting things set up and scoping out the venue early, was super easy to work with, had fantastic suggestions and captured such beautiful images of our day. Where do I start I have so many raves for this photographer Kristie Horton. From my first chat with her after culling through so many photographers I knew she was the one. Talking to her i felt like i had known her for some time so be prepared you will have a friend for life booking with her. Kristie was so easy to talk to and was accommodating to our needs. I knew right away she loves what she does and her talent shows in the beautiful pictures. She really has a camera eye for catching the emotions in every picture which I love. Wedding day she was on time,very professional and had everyone on cue which all our guests kept raving about. Kristie and her assistant were both so sweet and a great pleasure to work with I would highly recommend them if looking for a photographer. Kristie also has a Halo booth which she rents out that is such a fun touch to any event and easy to use. Kristie and her crew were AMAZING! I still look at the pictures she took, more than three months after the wedding! I couldn't have been happier with everything that she did for us, including helping us ladies all get the final pieces of our outfits put together on the day of! Kristie saved my wedding. It was as if everything that could go wrong was going wrong and I was beyond stressed come the day of the wedding. That was until Kristie showed up; she helped keep things on track. Not only was she an amazing photographer but after she got the first couple shots, she helped with some other tasks like steaming my dress and keeping the officiant distracted due to a somewhat late start. After the ceremony we were able to take our time with pictures and figuring out what all shots we'd like. There was no rush and she made everything very easy and enjoyable. I saw your ad / post on facebook for the budget special. We were on a very tight budget so I decided to message you. You responded very quickly and were very sweet. You explained the special and let my fiancé and I talk about it. You explained that due to the special price, we would have to pay before and of the day. Since we didn't know you or anyone who knew you, we were a little skeptical because you just never know now a days. Lol. we checked out your facebook page and photos that you had done,,, amd read the reviews from previous shoots. We checked out how long you had been doing photography and decided to take the chance. Your work was awesome from what we could tell and didn't want to pass up such awesome deal if it was legit. We talked on the phone and I made the payment,and we set up a time to meet. The day we were to meet, you actually walked in right before, me we went over the contract, went through some of your shoots you had done before, discussed what kind of pics we were wanting. We went over what I wanted from you as my photographer and what you needed from me as well. Throughout the couple months leading up to the wedding, even during personal hardships you were having, you were always there to answer any questions or ideas that I had. The day of the wedding, you arrived prob close to 30 mind early, to just look around and get some ideas of shots you could do and you started promptlyo(if not a few mins early) at twelve. You were very attentive and were shooting everything, not having much idol time. You made to sure to keep checking with me, to make sure you were getting all the pictures I wanted. I could say a million things to any customer about the photography and overall experience with Kristie Horton Photography, but even then. .. a million words would never do her work any justice. Not only did Kristie drive three hours from Georgia to be there for my wedding day, but she captured memories that myself, as a bride, would have never been able to see. From candid photos as I got ready, to the emotional moments that happened behind the scenes, Kristie was on point, every moment. She became more than our photographer, she became part of our family. She shared tears with almost every member of our wedding party, and even more laughs with those that shared our joining. I think there were more surprises with Kristie than I could really begin to explain, but there is never a dull moment with her as your photographer. Not only did I get A LOT of photographs, but she even surprised me with a heartfelt, and truly touching video that I will cherish forever. I can't even watch it now without crying... If you need a good tear, I am sure she will gladly share it with you. Then again, not many people can capture a wedding and a Dos Equis commercial in one event - Then again, not many photographers are like Kristie. I booked Kristie over a year before my wedding! I had no experience with her prior, but loved her wedding albums and the price she was offering during a contest! Kristie is always holding contests, which I love!
We decided to also use her for our engagement pictures and were not disappointed! She worked with me on location, since we are over an hour away from each other and had all pictures back in a timely manor!
Kristie just did our wedding in April and the natural light she was able to capture is my favorite part! She worked well with our schedule, even when things didn't stay exactly on track!

While browsing Facebook, I came upon an ad for Kristie Horton Photography that was running a special. I looked through her portfolio and decided I would take advantage of the deal.

Kristie was very accommodating. She was helpful with offering ideas, helping with the wedding planning, communicated with me every step of the way. She made me feel comfortable in my skin. As a woman who isn't always comfortable with her weight, she made me feel flawless, and beautiful. I never had to worry if I was going to look bad in my photos.

Kristie was great with lighting and placement and made our experience fun. She captured our love and our wedding perfectly. She was sure to be there every step of the way.
