Counseling

You know what it's like. It seems there's no one who understands your issues. You feel all alone and embarrassed that you can be a successful professional and still not have your personal life under control. You wonder if there's anyone you can trust. The answer is yes. Dr. Kristen Hashioka is insightful, patient, skillful and open to using various psychological approaches to solve whatever issue is presenting itself. As one who trusts very few individuals with my personal story, I have been able to trust her implicitly. I'm not only referring to confidentiality but Dr. Hashioka engages in a way that invites trust. I know many individuals study to become the therapists they are. I'm confident this therapist possessed many of the innate skills it takes to become a successful therapist long before she entered formal education. Finding the therapist that's right for you is hit and miss. When you do find a good fit, you can move forward in so many ways. I hope it happens for each of you just as it did for me. More...

Q&As

I love helping people, and most importantly helping people to understand and accept themselves in the here and now. It gives me great enjoyment to work with clients that feel stuck in a negative process. Then after taking the time work with them they begin to understand who they are with both their strengths and limitations, start feeling better and putting action to their personal goals and make meaning of their life, relationships, and work.

I have worked for many years in sales, as a Registered Nurse, and in several different clinics as a psychological Assistant, and now a clinical psychologist in Private Practice. I have always been inspired to start my own business as I can provide the kind of service that I feel is best for each client individually.

I provide the best service that I can for my clients. My clients know that I truly care about them as unique individuals and helping them to grow and gain insight into themselves so that they can be their personal best.
