Yesss! Finally some bubble waffle's in R.I!I went to Hong Kong this summer and loved the bubble waffle's with ice cream. I was thrilled to learn that kow kow was right here in little rhody! I've had a few different waffle cones when they are a part of food truck events. I've also visited the truck when they are set up in Prov. The ice cream flavors and waffles are very fresh. The combinations are unique. So delicious. I also tried their homemade tea over the summer and it didn't last more than 10 min! So good!!! I would buy it by the bottle. Had one of their items on their limited "birthday menu" and it was so satisfying to have while being out in Providence! Love the combination Strawberry Shortcake crumble with their ice cream to just add this new layer of texture that made the bubble waffle even better. Another star for a pretty consistent look and taste on the bubble waffle itself. An even shade of golden brown that holds the ice cream in perfectly! I've been following kow kow on social media for awhile now, and finally made it to them tonight. It was their last night for the Birthday cake special, and I had to try it before it was gone. The freshly made bubble waffle cone was SO good. It was filled with perfectly smooth vanilla ice cream and topped with Funfetti cake from Whisk Me Away and a condensed milk drizzle. We had been wanting to try these for a couple of weeks, and I was happy to catch them during a food truck event near my house. The waffles are made to order, so there will be a few minute wait, but not long. The smell was divine while we were waiting! They had the perfect crispiness on the outside, and soft and delicious on the inside. I got the Milk and Matcha which was the perfect sweetness and didn't have an overpowering Matcha taste. It was topped with strawberries and Mochi. My kids and a friend got the Oreo Factory that was topped with half oreos, crushed oreos, and chocolate syrup. I've been trying to catch Kow Kow foreverrrr - totally my own fault because they totally always post their schedule on all the social medias. ....I got the Graham Canyon which was graham cracker ice cream, carmel drizzle, cocoa nibs and strawberry sliced all tucked cozily into a bubble waffle. The combination of soft warm waffle, frozen ice cream, sweet, fruity and salty had me exclaiming "mmmmm" "oh my God" "this is so good"This special treat is worth every avaliable penny in my wallet. Finally Providence has bubble waffles! Currently, Kow Kow is a food truck and pop up.I've been eating the bubble waffles since they opened last September. The bubble waffles are made to order. They have two waffle makers so there will be a wait. The creations are similar to desserts that use local Warwick Ice Cream and different toppings. They offer ice creams that Warwick Ice Cream doesn't sell in stores, such as Matcha, Â Black Raspberry, Graham Cracker Ice Cream and more. There are six standard creations, and occasionally a limited edition creation.A few times they collaborated with Smoke and Squeal to make a savory bubble waffle. My first puffle (bubble) cone was at The Cauldron in Garden Grove, Ca back in 2015. The ice cream were made out of liquid nitrogen & I have never had anything liked it since. Until I heard about this place.I went on their grand opening and i went back again recently. The bubbly waffle cone was so fluffy and ice cream went so well with the toppings. It's literally a party in your mouth and honestly, it's great to have on a chilly day cause the waffle is warm and fluffy. Highly recommend! More...

One of the best thing I've ever tried. The bubble waffles are so good and everything is made to order so I don't mind the wait because it is worth it. I had the milk and matcha flavor and I was not expecting the size because oh man, it was filling. The whole combination just made sense. There is also different flavors so I'm excited to try out all of them! Honestly it doesn't hurt to try something different especially for the food truck industry. You will not regret. Newly opened food truck residing on Waterman St in Providence (locations vary) Be sure to follow them on Instagram/Twitter to find out where they'll be! @kowkowfoodThey offer bubble waffle cones and ice cream with a variety of toppings. We got the Milk + Matcha which was a warm bubble waffle cone, with Matcha ice cream, topped with strawberries, mochi, and a condensed milk drizzle! Absolutely amazing! The bubble waffle had a warm crispiness to it and once you bite into it, there's a nice fluffiness to it as well. The ice cream was so good! It was just right in my opinion, not too sweet. You can also swap out certain toppings if you prefer or keep it the way its described.The bubble waffles are made to order, so be patient! It's worth it in the end! Please also remember that they are a new business so cut them some slack! The staff here are super nice and will answer any questions you may have about the menu.Definitely plan to get my hands on the Oreo Factory next time I stop by! More...
