This is my favorite place to have a breakfast burrito in Denton and amazing kolache. They have freshly back kolaches every morning and freshly made breakfast burritos. It's a cozy location, and a wonderfully owned local business! Most times, if you come in, the clerk on duty will give you a free donut holes if they have extra! Wow!! I just learned about kolaches before my trip to Texas, and I'm so glad I found Kolache Haven during that search. Friendly people running the place, and the kolaches are delicious. The food is wonderful! There is a huge variety of sweet to savoury, something for everyone! They take special occasion orders (Even orders because it's cooler outside ). Only fault is the parking lot and building are not handicapped friendly and for that I removed one star. More...

This place is amazing. So much more than your regular "cheesy hot dog" kolaches you can get everywhere else. The variety is delicious. I've yet to not be impressed coming here. I highly recommend trying their cinnamon bun with cream cheese in the middle. It's called a pull-apart and is so very delicious! A must try! Also their scones are petty tasty also!! Their kolaches are much better now than they were just a few months ago when I first went to this hike in the wall, but it's all good here now! I have been a long time patron of Kolache Haven, and I absolutely love it. Everything on the sweet side is delicious, but the real stars of the show are all of the meat kolaches. I always get a Tom's Texas Taco, and either a Hickory Venison or an Jalapeno. I tend to get the full size (Armadillos) kolaches and save 1 for lunch because they are extremely filling. By the third visit, you'll fall in love. The dough is what hooks you. My one complaint is that since 2010 when I moved here, they have slowly and steadily increased their prices. It is getting closer to the realm of not affordable which saddens me. Give it a try, and it will not disappoint. More...
