How would you describe your ‘style’?
Whether the event is formal, casual, cocktail, dinner, dancing, or any combination of, we work closely with every one of our clients to develop a playlist perfectly suited for the evening. In addition to musical knowledge weÂ’ve got mad MCing skills, will work with all your other vendors to keep your event running smoothly, can mic anything you throw at us, and are happy to facilitate your family traditions. WeÂ’ll even provide music for and mic your ceremony.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy being a DJ for a number of reasons. I started DJing when I was just a teenager in high school, but I really got in to djing simply because I loved music and entertaining others. As a DJ, you are largely responsible for keeping the crowd happy and content throughout the specific event. This requires a lot of attention to detail, communication skills, and people skills. I have always enjoyed reading people and helping people feel positive and full of energy. As a DJ I get to do just that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Klymaxx Entertainment is celebrating over 29 years in business. In 1993, DJ Rob and I started Klymaxx Entertainment. In the last 20 years we had a lots of successful weddings. In those days and normal setup was, 10 to 15 record crates, two turntables and a mixer in a coffin, four speakers and a amp rack we called big Mama. That was a lots of work, but it was worth it, we had fun. We moved from records to CDs having two American DJ CDJ and four books of CDs that made it a lot easier for us, but as most of DJs know, with all the music you take to a gig, there always will be someone at the wedding reception or party requests a song that you do not have in your CD books.
Today we are using state of the Art Equipment State of the art sound systems and professional grade equipment. We use the top names in the DJ industry, Pioneer, Rane, JBL, ADJ and Serato DJ pro on a MacBook Pro, and Five & Four terabyte hard drive that holds over 150,000 songs and videos, to cater to all occasions and musial preference.

I lost my friend and business partner DJ Rob, which was a very difficult loss. It was very hard to continue with the business without him, but he would have wanted us to continue on…so we are moving forward in his memory. We will always miss you, R.I.P Robert Hall aka DJ Rob!!!!!
