I hired Kiss This Makeup for 3-6 girls for hair and makeup in the Chicago location.

1. The hair stylist was 15 minutes late and did not give me a text or calling letting me know she was going to be late. I called the owner (she texted me saying I could call her number if I had any questions) and she did not pick up.

2. I and another girl were not happy with our hair styles. When I was upset with the hairstyle, the stylist thought it was a great idea to say "you are overreacting" instead of asking what she can do to fix this.

3. I posted an honest review expressing my disappointment with their service. The owner of the company called me today and immediately told me that I and my review were rude. She did not apologize for the fact that I was disappointed in a service I paid for nor did she even want to ask me what happened. She instead attacked me immediately. This customer service is appalling and the thought that the owner can bully people who post honest reviews is alarming.

No one paying you $700+ for your services should be treated the way we were treated. More...

I have to be honest here, I was not impressed with using Kiss This for my hair and makeup for my wedding. I requested, and paid extra for, airbrush makeup. When I had my trial, I realized that my makeup artist didn't do airbrush. It wasn't her fault, she wasn't told it was an airbrush trial. I learned that she didn't even have the capabilities to do it in the first place. I'm not sure why Kiss This set me up with someone who doesn't even do airbrush. I had to request to change our day of schedule several times because they didn't have the right people on the list, the timing was off, or people who paid for airbrush were matched with an artist that didn't do airbrush. There was also an issue with airbrush the day of the wedding. And there was drama the day of the wedding between the owner and one of the artists. All in all, I didn't have a great experience with them. I should have paid more for better quality, with someone that was local. More...

We had 9 people getting hair and makeup done the morning of my wedding, and their time management was pretty great! They did run over their estimated time frame by about 45 minutes but nothing to worry as we scheduled additional time in incase of any hiccups. Leading up to the event communication was wonderful at first, then a little rocky and not well followed through with as time counted down (system error more than likely.) Over all, the staff was friendly, kind, and professional through it all! Our hair and makeup turned out stunning! More...

I hired Kiss This Makeup for my wedding on June 5th, 2021 and I am so glad I did. Loredana was absolutely wonderful!! She arrived right on time, and finished with time to spare. She was so personable, easy to work with and get along with. She asked for photos of what we were looking to have done and delivered them spot on. Loredana was perfect in every way. She would ask us if we liked everything and if we wanted anything fixed. She definitely took pride in her work and wanted to make sure we we’re getting what we wanted.
