Delicious traditional Turkish omelet. Sausage, mozzarella, egg served in a hot copper pan made to order with a side of short strong coffee. Best breakfast on the north end. A family-run business, your tastebuds will dance! More...

What a gem! My son was in town, and loves Turkish coffee so I found this place and gave it a try without too many expectations. What a wonderful place, not only did they serve delicious Turkish coffee, but the ambiance and presentation was delightful!  The owners were friendly, informative and added to the wonderful experience. Will definitely become a regular and would recommend  to anyone. More...

The best coffee in Alderwood Mall by far. It is located outside of Macy's.They offer truly unique craft coffee and delicious treats made in house.

We visited their Seattle store inside Alderwood Mall. We were looking for a food gift to bring to a relative's house for dinner. Good thing we found this place and the salesperson was very warm and friendly. In fact, we finished all her tiny samples and loved it so we got an assorted box. Sadly, we liked it so much that we kept that would be gift for ourselves. Turkish delights are like gelatin candy mostly with nuts and honey.  Here we had rose petals and other yummy stuff. Visit them and you won't be sorry. More...

I was so excited when I saw this place opening up and I finally had the time to stop by and try it yesterday. This place does not disappoint! ! I told the gal that I wanted to get some Turkish delights for my boyfriend's family and she told me that it would be a better deal to get a box of 12. I'm so glad she did because I could have never decided between all the yummy looking choices they had  The box she placed it in made it look like such a beautiful presentation so that made me feel extremely confident that I chose the right desserts for the family. The taste loves to how pretty they looked. Not too sweet but just right for an after dinner treat. It's a cute and charming kiosk and I love the overall setup with a side bar stool area. I hope they expand to other locations soon! More...

Their Turkish delights are just as pretty as they are yummy! The rose pistachio has a great balance; not too floral with chunks of pistachios. Mmmmmm.... The owner and his staff are so nice! You have to stop by their pop up in Fremont! More...

I am SOO HAPPY this Turkish delight cafe opened near my house! I am such a fan of hand made Turkish delights. Let me start by saying I LOVE THE OWNERS they are both so sweet! And carefully explained all the flavors and items they had, I am totally in love with the Turkish delights they are not too sweet and kind of hard squishy which is the texture I look for in Turkish delights. I have tried the pistachio rose, nougant, rose pomegranate, raspberry, pistachio and double pistachio baklava. They are ALL GOOD you will not be disappointed. Nougant: was my favorite not sweet, milky flavor with yummy almond textures.Rose pedal pomegranate: has actual yummy rose pedals wow!Raspberry: has these yummy pink crunchy balls to complement the the squishy texture of the Turkish delight.Pistachio baklava: magnificent buttery flavor with a bit of crunch.Double pistachio baklava: for serious pistaschio lovers! They have two kinds, one with pistachio and the other with walnuts. They both taste really good. Turkish coffee & teaI would highly recommend trying both the a Turkish coffee and tea. The was reviewed as a 'cafe'...just so you know this is more like a European bar with stools around a small counter. I had the Muhummara plate which was perfect for my small appetite. ..plus asked if I wanted a 1/2 pitta bread or whole so I could opt for the 1/2. While I was waiting a couple decided to try a variety of the Turkish delights...stepped aside...tasted & then came back & ordered more.  Ordered a 'traditional' Baklava (pistachios vs walnuts) to go. Good but very dense...I prefer the flakier type. I didn't try the Turkish coffee...so can't review it's authenticity. Real Turkish coffee is hard to find in the US as its usually made for American tastes....will try to come back just for dessert & coffee on another day. More...

I noticed when Kismet was beginning to build in the mall and anxiously awaited its opening. I had had Turkish coffee in Florida years ago, but had never had Turkish Delight. For the coffee, I started out trying the Turko Latte. OMG! A bold, strong flavor and SO SMOOTH! You might expect that acidic kickback that most coffee has, but, no! No acidic kickback and no bitter aftertaste! I was hooked! This was 100x better than Starbuck's! The Turkish Delight did not disappoint either. Sweet, but balanced with fruitiness and lots of nuts. I was in heaven with those little cubes of deliciousness smothered in chopped pistachios! The savory items were also wonderful. They make an omelet-type dish with vegetables and cheese that is fully satisfying, and the summit and the hummus...needless to say, Kismet is a hit. Authentic Turkish cuisine in the middle of Alderwood mall. No need to hit the food court, everything in your wildest dreams is right here. More...

Amazing!  Everything they do is wonderful.  I just had an omelet with cheese and tomato made to order with a mug of honey cardamom latte.  One of the few places in the mall that you can get healthy and tasty "homemade food."  And as a little treat, their turkish delight for dessert!  Fabulous that Alderwood Mall doesn't just have the run of the mill, cookie cutter food choices! An unusual space for an extraordinary place. Kismet is a break from the tired out institutions we all see too often. They are bringing something so truly unique and in the mall no less. In the center of the mall you'll find their open kitchen with beautifully tiled walls displaying gooey sweet baklava , Turkish delights , and more. The Turkish delights are incredible , the flavors unique and pronounced while so visually striking you can't help but stop and stare. The assortment of food is ever growing and equally as delicious and professionally presented. It's nice to have a reasonably priced food I can grab in the mall while feeling like it's good and healthy food. It is REAL food made from scratch. The real star here however isn't the food, it's not even the Turkish delights. It's the coffee. It comes in a small cup but believe me it's more than enough. It's bold, strong, and smooth at the same time. While they also offer an assortment of lattes and varieties of coffee all of which are great coffees (still 10x better than Starbucks ) the Turkish coffee is a must experience event. Spend a day shopping and take a break to sit down and delight in an incredible cup of coffee and experience something truly unique and delightful. More...

This place is located within Alderwood Mall shopping center. The Turkish coffee is one of the best coffees I have ever tried. Mind you, I usually drink americano and prefer larger volume. However, if I had a choice to drink this coffee every day, I would choose it in a bit. The pastries are delicious! And the Turkish delights are very fresh, tasty and flavorful. Tl;dr: yes muvvaWe were determined to try turkish coffee and this place, although suspiciously located in the middle of the mall, was just our cup of tea. The coffee itself was good, tasted like, idk, good coffee, and when we finished, we were thinking it was decent but didn't really get the hype. About 20 steps away, we noticed something strange. Our steps became lighter; our pace quickened; suddenly the world became vivid and more captivating. The Caffeine Had Arrived. and it was Glorious. We watched the final Avengers afterwards and spent the entire 3 (4? 6? how long is that movie again?) hours on the edges of our seats, alert, engaged, and several feet above our bodies. Everyone should try turkish coffee at least once, and this is a great, accessible place to have it. Plus it comes in cute cups :D More...

We paid our first visit to Alderwood Mall just to check out Kismet Cafe. The cafe is perpendicular-ish from the Starbucks kiosk by Michael Kors in the mall. We decided to get a number of things including a rose Turkish delight, the simit plate, menemen, tea and Latte Turko. To whet our appetites, we dug into the rose Turkish delight, which was probably the best Turkish delight I've ever had. I asked the girl - who is SUPER super sweet - where these delights are from, and they're from Turkey! So cool! The food was also quite good. I would've liked to see feta in the plate instead of Babybel cheese, but no matter - everything was still well done. The simit - according to my Turkish boyfriend - was very authentic. The Latte Turko was delicious too! This place is SUPER legit, and shout out to the girl working there - she is a hard worker and so diligent. Keep up the good work!! More...

I'm so glad this place opened up at the mall! It's right in the middle of the mall, right across from Macy's, and absolutely a delight. For me personally, I had high expectations because I had friend's from Turkey who would constantly bring me homemade treats. Kismet did not disappoint! Per recommendation from the very friendly server, I got the single turkish coffee and the wet cheese borek. The coffee was excellent and just as I had expected. Very strong, bold flavor, and went amazing with the borek. I had never had it before but it was sort of like a savory danish with wet stretchy cheese on the inside. it sounds way less appetizing than it actually is, trust me. The pastry itself was baked to perfection and the cheese was salty and went super well with the coffee. The server was also so wonderful. He explained the the process of how each thing is made and went into great detail about the coffee as well. I would've gotten more that day except it was just me. Will be going back soon! More...

I loved the rose, and honey pistachio Turkey delights! I feel like it's the perfect size for a sweet bite! My husband tried the Turkish coffee, it was his first ever experience. The coffee is definitely different and strong for general American taste buds, but it was not to experience culture! I've been to Turkey, so it's nice to revisit some yummy Turkish food here. brand new at the Alderwood Mall.  Kismet is located outside of Macy's across the way from Starbucks.there is a huge case devoted to Turkish Delight.  we were afraid the sweetness level would be similar to the baklava in the other case, but was pleasantly surprised that it was not overly sweet.  we had the pomegranate pistachio, saffron pistachio, and the rose pistachio turkish delights with turkish coffee. our favorite was the rose pistachio.  the turkish coffee was served in a beautiful turkish coffee cup along with a glass of lemon infused water.  we were told by the very pleasant and helpful counter server that turkish people drink water along with their coffee.  there are savory-looking pastries and loaves of bread in the second case. i watched a Simit ("turkish bagel") being prepared. it is thinner than the bagels we are used to.  the Simit was served with sliced cucumbers and cream cheese.  i will definitely return to try the Simit and the rest of the pastries.
