My experience at king taco is always great. Not to mention it’s my favorite taco spot but customer service is always great and yes it’s known for long lines and a forever wait but that has changed, at least in my local King Taco. Went last night as we were in La Habra... soooo bomb did not disappoint... Idk what the IE King Tacos are doing but they suck. You need to come to the ones in LA to get that true King Taco Taste... made the drive from Rialto and would probably do it again if Im ever around the area againMinus one for the Horchata. Came here this past Saturday after clubbing with my friend, it's been a tradition of ours to get tacos after a night of dancing and drinking. Glad King Taco came through!PARKING: There's lots of parking wrapped around the restaurant, it was easy to snag a spot.RESTAURANT: Huge, actually! It was pretty empty at 2am, as expected. There was a bit of a line but it wasn't too bad. There's plenty of seating, very casual dine-in restaurant.MENU: Lots of items, but I only had my attention on their tacos. It was about $1.69 for a single taco, which is pretty affordable. I ended up getting 2 Al Pastor and 1 Asada from them. The Al Pastor was a bit dry, but had more flavor than the Asada. The Asada had less flavor, but was more juicy and tender than the Al Pastor. The red salsa pairs really well with the tacos, my tongue was burning, but it was worth it. The salsa is a must!CONCLUSION: Okay tacos, but the best part is its open late. Definitely worth a visit if there are no food options available, I know I can rely on King Taco. Usually, I dont get great service at this King Taco but today was the complete opposite. Eddie, who served us our to-go tacos was very generous with the salsas, usually I have to hustle for more. I know that theres a certain amount of tacos per salsa but many times i get even less than that. Anthony was the best cashier I've had an experience with, since coming to this King Taco. I've been for 10 years, and met this attentive cashier, who listened to what my wife wanted. King Taco setup reminds me of Tacos el Gordo in San Diego. The line moves quickly, but prepare to wait for your order especially if it's crowded. We ordered a carne asada burrito with extra pico de gallo and sour cream and a few carne asada and al pastor tacos. OMG the al pastor tacos were amazinggggg. The al pastor has a hint of sweetness and it's so good! I wish we ordered more al pastor. The carne asada was very fresh and tender. You can definitely taste the lime-heavy marinate in the meat. I grew up eating king taco in downtown LA, and then I moved to Pico Rivera and I was so hyped to see their was a location near by, MAAAANN is this place ALWAYS packed. This particular location is the real deal when it comes to King Taco. It has a spacious interior, straightforward ticket and window system for orders, and gives you plenty of the spicy red sauce for tacos. I like the carne asada and al pastor tacos the most, but all are worth trying.The area that this spot is located is definitely not the best and normally I wouldn't want to be anywhere near here due to some sketchy characters outside.
