What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Anticipation.
Watching how people interact with one another allows you to anticipate and predict when the perfect moment will arise.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What style of photos are you looking for? (Bright and airy, deep and rich, playful and candid, artistic, etc)
How will you display or share your photos?
What do you want to feel when you look back at your photos?
What do you want others to think or feel when they see the photos?
What do you love most about your job?
Hearing from my clients that their photos made them emotional because it means I did my job in a way that let's them relive a moment that really meant something to them!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I originally bought a camera to take better photos of my friends and family and quickly fell in love with the idea that I could revisit a moment over and over again by looking at those pictures. Then, when I brought my camera out to my friends' concerts, I found it really exciting to anticipate a change in the music or lighting and to grab that shift through my lens. From there, I was hooked and have spent the years since capturing the shifts, interactions, and every other beautiful and fleeting moments I can in any type of session I get the chance to shoot!
I love what I do and I love that I get to call it my career.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I'm there for them, not for myself. I want my clients to feel comfortable for their entire session and excited for the photos they receive and will put in the extra work to make that a reality.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
The photos, of course, have to be taken in-person, but the editing and photo delivery is all done remotely.
Lifestyle Newborn Session
Newborn photos taken in the comfort of your own home to showcase your growing family. These photos can be taken anywhere in the home but most often feature the nursery, living room, and/or master bedroom.
Maternity Session
Maternity photos can either be taken in a scenic location* or in the comfort of your own home. Spouses and other family are always welcome in these sessions, as well!
*I have a list of locations we can choose from or, if you have someplace in mind, we can use that location!
Branding Session
Branding sessions are specifically designed to showcase you and your business. These are most often taken in the place where you do business and usually include product images as well as headshots.
Birthday Session
Birthday sessions taken at a scenic location of your choosing - whether you need a cake smash session for a little one or two celebrate a milestone birthday of your own.
Couples & Family Sessions
Photos of families and/or couples taken at a scenic location* to highlight your relationships.
*I have a list of locations we can choose from or, if you have someplace in mind, we can use that location!
Wedding Photos
Wedding photo packages are custom built to suit the needs of your big day - from getting ready to ceremony, celebration, and send-off!
Boudoir Session
Boudoir sessions in the comfort of your own home - where the ✨magic✨ happens!
These sessions can be done anywhere in your home but most often are done I'm the master bedroom, living room, or bathroom.
Headshots
Headshots sessions have two options:
1. Standard headshots with a solid white or black background.
2. Lifestyle headshots taken in your work environment/office or a scenic location of your choosing.
Graduation Session
Graduation photos for both high school and college grads are a great way to mark the achievement!
Grad sessions are tailor made to fit the wants and needs of each client but, more often than not, they include photos in a scenic location as well as at the school and feature the client wearing their cap & gown as well as a semi-casual outfit that they look and feel good in!
Grad sessions are a great time to feature class rings, letterman jackets, sports or other interests, future college choice, and your area of study!
