Stu Kershner is a gifted physical therapist. His knowledge, competence and passion for healing makes him the best at what he does. Stu was able to get me back on the ski slopes and back on my bike. My strength and balance have improved significantly. He's an expert in his field. More...

You will be in excellent care! I am extremely picky when it comes to finding a physiotherapist and feel very fortunate to have found Stu. As a female runner, I had an ongoing issue that I just couldn't figure out for months. I decided it was worth my sanity and body to have him do a check up - sure enough, through 1 visit, he identified the problem and gave me wonderful prehab exercises to keep me healthy. Stu is intelligent and easy to work with and I highly recommend him! More...

The best Physical Therapist I have worked with. He has helped my injuries more than anyone I know and I highly recommend him to anyone. I've seen Stu about 6 or 7 times now, for an elbow dislocation and another for shoulder pain. He responds a lot to feedback to make sure I'm getting the best treatment and that I'm comfortable. I'm a pretty active guy and he gives me a lot of actionable plans to take with me outside of the session. Having worked with other PT's in the past where they are just focused on stopping the pain and getting you out the door, it is nice to be with a PT for the full session and having it revolve around more than just getting you out of pain, but having a long term solution so you won't have to see him again. You couldn't ask for a better PT than Stu. I have been having frequent shoulder issues and have tried a number of different solutions with no success. With one visit to Stu he was able to identify the exact issue and provide dry-needling to eliminate the pain right away. Most importantly, Stu is just an all around great guy that goes out of his way to help his clients. More...

Stu is a fantastic PT. He is incredibly knowledgable and patient and gets the work done. He doesn't try to drag out treatment to see you for more sessions, he tries to get you back to normal or better function as quickly and safely as he can. Highly recommend!

Normally, when you think of PT, you think of pain, both physical and financial. That’s not the case with Stu.When I started seeing Stu, I could barely walk due to extreme plantar fasciitis and subsequent knee pain from over compensation. I was also recovering from a dislocated shoulder. Stu efficiently assessed the situation and put together a treatment plan that included training me on how to take care of myself outside of his office. He is not out to make money off of people, he’s there to help each and every person feel better. He’s also funny, witty and does a great job with explanations. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Dr. Stu saw me on short notice and within 15 minutes had an understanding of my relatively odd knee issue I had been dealing with. Gave me exactly what I needed to know to be confident in my knee again so I can continue running with peace of mind. Definitely recommend an initial session to understand exactly what’s going on with your body! More...

I've worked with Stu on a Professional level and also as a client of his. Incredibly thorough in everything he does. Makes sure he knows your whole health history, the injury, what movement or activity that causes pain, and (best of all) has the time to be thorough with you so you will never feel rushed. He puts you at ease with his humor, his knowledge of Physical Therapy, and that he really wants you to make a full recover. For myself, I recently dislocated my elbow and he helped me with the rehab of it. Showed me the exercises, what to do, and not do. But what makes him stand out is his follow-up and him being available to answer every question I've had outside of our visit. With me, he has demonstrated that he truly wants to see me healthy again. For this reason I have been referring my clients to see him. As a business owner who relies on his reputation, I won't have any of my clients see anyone else because he is the best Physical Therapist I've known. More...

Stu was great!
I've been putting off seeing a PT because I was worried they would tell me I wouldn't be able to run. Finally, I realized I needed to do something about the pain in my hip/knee while running. Within a few simple movements, Stu identified the reason for my pain and gave me some simple homework. I've been doing the exercises and have had a pain-free run for the first time in weeks! More...

Stu is awesome! He came to our house to evaluate my husband who had been complaining of a back pain. Stu came prepared with his own table and all the tools he needed to properly diagnose my husband's issue. Luckily it was an imbalance that was caused by tight hip flexors and calves. Stu showed him the proper way to stretch those areas and his back was as so much better and gave him some homework to do on his own. Next day my husband was able to get back to his CrossFit workout. He was so specific in his instructions when showing me how to do the appropriate exercises, that I left his office confident in my ability to do them correctly and improve my condition. Q&As

I love treating patients and helping them get better. I've recently treated a gentleman with rib and low back pain with his golf swing. He improved significantly in just one visit and was completely recovered in only two visits. It's truly rewarding to hear that he is back doing what he loves in a very short period of time.

I was getting fed up with health insurance companies telling me how to treat patients. I want to treat patients the way they should be treated, not the way the insurance company thinks. I like to say that I provide a solution to your problem, not what I call "insurance therapy" meaning only doing what the insurance company will pay me for.

WHY KERSHNER PHYSICAL THERAPY?

Have you ever been to a traditional medical office and after the visit think you yourself: "the doctor/nurse/therapist barely spent any time with me, and then I didn't even get the answer or care that I really needed?" I think we've all been there, and probably far too often.

I know YOU deserve better, and I know I can provide you MUCH better care.

In order to do this, I do 3 key things differently than a "traditional" office to treat your pain:

First, I listen to you. I want to know the whole story, start to finish. Often times my patients have been in pain for months, or even years! Knowing the history and the challenges you've been through is essential to me helping you. When is the last time a doctor or therapist took the time to listen to you?

Second, I make sure you get your therapy! I have flexible hours including mornings and evenings at my office. I also provide a mobile physical therapy service* and I will meet you at your home, office, or any other location of your choice. It takes away the burden and the challenge of leaving home or work to get to your appointment.

Last, I am available beyond your 1 hour visit, for no additional cost. Questions always come up, and having an answer quickly is often very important. You can call, email or text me any time of day for any reason and I will get back to you as quickly as possible. You might be able to call or email your doctor, but it might be days before you hear back.

My goal is to give you the time and care you deserve during your recovery with the focus to get you back to what matters most to you as fast as possible. Usually that is as quick as 4-8 visits (not 12 or more at a "traditional" PT clinic).
