Kelly's did a great job catering our wedding. They were extremely flexible when it came to picking the menu as there were so many great choices. I worked closely with MaryAnn who was very responsive (usually over email). Kelly's was accommodating with the tastings as we had two (one with myself and my husband and one with myself and my parents). Guests raved about the food. Delicious food, fun atmosphere and decor.  Dance lessons on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm then karaoke.  Some surprising local talent.  It was a fun night!!  Fun dancing.  I got filet Oscar with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.  Delicious!  The Norfolk Seafood was also delicious, all very well done.  Great desserts too!! Great place that I look forward to returning to... your soft crabs are excellent (their breading is just right), the other shellfish is also local--from VA and NC, the concert was also worthwhile (others agreeing it was the best show they had seen by this performer), and Mr. Kelly seems like an extremely hospitable, and uniquely genuine business owner. Ultimately, the restaurant was much nicer overall than I expected and I would imagine this is the kind of stuff Outer Banks folklore can only imagine itself to be comprised of. More...

We came here for a bachelorette party. We had an issue with another guest trying to take photos up a girls skirt. We notified the bouncer and he was immediately removed. If I could give this place more stars I would! We were greeted at the door by the nicest hostess and a very nice man. We were seated in a private little corner that was EXTREMELY ROMANTIC! I was here for the Clarks show! Great venue. Food was good. Service was amazing! I forgot my servers name, super curly blonde hair, soooo friendly and even came to find me on the dance floor to see if I needed another drink...Twice actually! Above and beyond!

I can't say how much I loved dining here! We went here this last week and we're completely won over. The food--a fried shrimp special and pasta alfredo--was delicious. A chocolate mousse was the perfect finale to the evening, and as a chocoholic, I can't rave over it enough! The staff was delightful...much thanks to Lara for keeping our glasses full and especially to our waitress for her kind and bubbly personality. We had a lot of fun ordering with her! We loved the overall setup and "look" of the restaurant. Don't ever change it! We also got several visits from Mr. Kelly himself to check up on us, and I personally was very impressed by that and by all of it, really. I'd give ten stars if I could. For a couple who rarely get to see each other, time is precious and we want to spend the time we have in the best possible way, so thank you Kelly's for a wonderful and memorable evening. More...

Our group of 14 was seated quickly & with smiles from all who took care of us. I had the crab soup , scallops & shrimp over pasta, followed by creme brulee & it was amazing. Amazing. We ate at Kelly's on the last night of our vacation in the Outer Banks. The creamy crab soup was amazing. Two of us had the Seafood Norfolk which was delicious and plentiful. One of my friends had the pan seared scallops and they were scrumptious. Also very generous portions. We have eaten at many restaurants in the Outer Banks, and didn't know where have we ever gotten eight big scallops for dinner. The most I think we've ever gotten was four at any other restaurant. At Kelly's, you get eight! The bread basket that comes before dinner has a nice selection of the sweet potato biscuits, white rolls, and scrumptious dark wheat rolls. Each of the three of us had a different dessert and they were fantastic. The service was better than any service we had at any restaurant in the Outer Banks this entire vacation including two extremely upscale restaurants. Estella was our server and not only is she very attentive, she is also extremely personable and made the meal even more enjoyable. I don't know his name but there was a young bus boy who is also working and he did such a great job of making sure plates were cleared from tables in a very timely manner. He was so sweet and you could tell he took his job seriously. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend eating at Kelly's Outer Banks. And we will definitely go back to Kelly's on our next trip to the Outer Banks. Had a really great time at Kelly's tavern.  The seafood was excellent and reasonably priced.  The staff were very attentive and had great personality.  We actually came on Thursday night open mic night.  The local talent was awesome.
