Update: After bumpy start, they reached out to me + continued to follow up to the point we were able to consummate a lease agreement. Not responsive to prospective tenant. Find a different agency would be my recommendation.If  they are poor in customer service prior to becoming a tenant, ask yourself how will they be after you've signed a lease.

I changed my mind completely. I don't know how the people who run this company sleep at night knowing how badly they rip off all their tenants making it seem as if they are at fault. I understand that you have to pinch as many pennies as possible...? But don't do it unfairly on a continuous basis and blame the tenant when things in a 20 year old home begin to break. I've fought tooth and nail for things you wouldn't even believe and a reputable company would never dare even execute. They also raised my rent $700 a month  when I renewed. And in a horrible manner. I love the place I'm in. So much. I never pay late. I'm a great tenant who only asks for bare minimum things. And I'm treated like dirt. I could never work here for these people with no conscious. I rented a home from Keller n Jadd and according to my lease the owner is Desert Palm Properties ( see attached photo of this homeowner) All I can say is this is poor management and when I get settled in my new home my lawyer will be contacted in regards to all the issues I had with the property and move out! What can I say that hasn't already been mentioned in countless reviews before me. Upon move-in, our house was already a disaster. Shaky banisters, damaged lint traps, most of the cabinet doors were glued back on, and the kickplates under the floor cabinets were barely being held on. The company would fix it, but we had to cover the extras, and that's on the move in! They tried charging us for the water heater that went out, but we disputed. The washer went out; the dryer went out, the refrigerator went out. The place was a joke. They made it pretty enough to rent, and that was about it. I put more work into that place than it had gotten in its entire time being built. We repainted walls the same colors, fixed all the damaged equipment and then some. Communication was painful; they will charge you for EVERYTHING. Your deposit is more non-refundable due to them charging an exuberant amount for the tiniest thing. If I could go back and do it all again, I would have gotten far far away. They are a sham and don't deserve the business. I don't even know how they are still able to maintain properties. We had to get lawyers involved more than once, and at the end of it, we barely got enough deposit back to split two ways. We were great renters. Paid on time every month on the first of the month for 3 years. No matter what you do, no matter how nice it looks. Stay as far away as possible. They will attempt to slander bad reviews, post pictures that are exaggerated, and scuff up what was fixed to look better. I was a contractor and I fixed everything in that house, Painted walls, and fixed what they would charge for. At the end of the day, They charged for furniture indents on the carpet and scuff marks. When I chose to rent from a rental company instead of a personal contact(s) of mine. I did the research on property management companies and found some, so I sent off what I was looking for in a place to rent, location, price, amenities, rental requirements, etc. I heard back from a few with very minimal information, except when I got a reply from Keller N Jadd. They replied within a day and answered all my questions that I had asked in my initial inquiry. They had send me information on properties that were what I was looking for. I had a call from one of the property agents, and I thought they were very helpful and polite and answered my questions. I did schedule a showing and got too see two houses that I liked, one was great, but the one I really liked, the one I chose to apply for. They were quick to get me set up to move in and there was not any issues, everything ran smoothly since the first inquiry. I really feel they care about their tentants and their prospects, they are alway through with their calls, lease signing, matientace calls. I have not had any issues with the home I chose. I couldn't ask for a nicer staff and property management company that truly cares about their homes and tenants needs and wants. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy. More...

Update:  I have been renting from Keller N Jadd for over 11 years and they have been nothing but professional and if I ever put in a work order it gets handled promptly and professionally,  I would recommend them if you are looking for a home to rent or buy ask for Steve.

I must say that I am overly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism portrayed by the entire staff. I have years of renting under my belt due to a traveling profession. It seems to be a widely accepted stance that you are going to speak to an answering machine anytime you call. The property management industry has allowed such horrible customer service that it has become the norm. I am happy to say that Keller N Jadd has single handedly changed my stance. I recently moved from Las Vegas to Henderson, NV and used Keller N' Jadd and have to say that they are top notch.  I am renting a house that has a lot of problems from the previous tenant's lack of maintaining it and Steve and JB at K& J have been on it getting things fixed.  Their communication is awesome, they gave me their personal cell phone numbers and Steve told me I can call him 24/7 if there is anything I need done.  He is literally willing to answer the phone at 2 am like a Navy SEAL and go to work and that is excellent customer service.  Most people would never do that, but he will, and he truly cares about his clients and is a friendly, professional business man.  I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a home in Nevada.  I would give them 6 stars if I could. Very Bad Customer Service.... I have reached out to Nancy at keller N Jade from recommendation from there office..<br>I called June 20 about a property left a message no reply. .. July 10 called and text 2 different times and I will be adding pictures of the text message that say she seen them marked as read...  My point is I'm reaching out to your company and interested in 3 property and nothing no calls no texts no acknowledgement what so ever...  Customer Service is not on there list here.. Well I am back.   So I get a text message from a field rep for Keller N Jadd wanting to set up an "annual" inspection.  ok but I have been here for 3 years and there has NEVER been an annual inspection.   Ok no worries we agreed upon a day and time.   well then a day letter I receive a notice that they won't wait one more day for the inspection.   I have 2 dogs so I told them they would be held responsible.  The reply was they would call animal control.   Oh but first my property manager immediately threatens me with charging me $500.00 for each lease agreement (3) for not having paying 2 deposits for 2 dogs.   Please look at my lease and you will see 2 dogs are on there, this was an agreement we had 3 years ago so why is this an issue now???  So they will call animal control and have my dogs taken away just so they can come in and look around when they can just wait one more day when I can get off work a little early to meet them.<br><br>Beware ladies and gentlemen.   I paid for my dogs to be there and now they want to call animal control when they are save and sound in their own home.   Gee that is messed up. I would like to preface this entry by stating that I have never attempted to rent a property prior to this one. Additionally, I am a bit uncomfortable with the idea of the whole arrangement due to the litany of horror stories I have heard (both with tenants and rental management companies). After research, calls, interviews, and references from coworkers, I selected Keller N' Jadd. <br><br>Before I go into my personal experience with them, I invite you to do a google search on "property manager red flags" or something similar. You will find lists of things to watch out for, like: poor bookkeeping, unnecessary fees, incorrect facts, and poor communication. I can unequivocally say that Keller N' Jadd does not exhibit any of these characteristics!<br><br>My agent was extremely helpful at getting my unit set up for rent. To start, he did an initial review/walkthrough of the property within in a day of contact, despite his already full schedule. He arrived after standard work hours to do this, at my request! Furthermore, we talked for over an hour and he answered all of my questions to my satisfaction, and he had really good advice on what to do/fix to attract tenants. I have to admit, I had done some of research before reaching out, and was testing him a bit to see if he would just feed me a line to get my business. To my satisfaction, he was very personable, knowledgeable and, most importantly, he gained my trust.<br><br>Our property management agreement was straight forward, professionally written, thorough, and fair. I had some specific requests on how I wanted my home listed and my strategy for renting, and my agent was more than happy to oblige. The entire timeline from first contact to management agreement signed/finalized to home listing was only 4 days! This could have been even shorter since the agency was always waiting on ME finish the required papers/forms so they could take the next step. I don't know about you, but I think it's a good sign when your property manager leans forward like this and doesn't care to waste time. It sends a message on how they intend to manage the property.<br><br>We had a pretty generous timeline to get the home rented (listed it 3 months before the needed move-in date).  Unfortunately, we were a month into it being listed when I had to change my plans and take it off the market due to personal circumstances. I dreaded the call to my agent since he put in a lot of work and was constantly helping retool my advertisement strategy. To my pleasant surprise, he was very understanding. He removed the property from the advertisement sites, absolved the contract, and even offered his personal services to help me move! Also, he didn't try to charge me any extra extraneous fees.<br><br>That sums up my experience with Keller 'N Jadd. I hope this has highlighted their commitment to customer service, professionalism, and communication skills. If I need a management company in the future, they will be my first call. JB at Keller n Jadd has been wonderful to work with. Each time we have had an emergency, he has taken care of us to ensure our concerns are taken care of. Last night our water main broke outside, he called and had someone to our house within the hour to bypass the issue outside and make sure we had water in the house for the night. I submitted an application on a house the realtor told me there were no other applications on. The next day, there was magically another application that came in before mine. I was upset obviously and requested my $55 application fee returned to me since this was their screw up. This was on 11/10/17. After making phone call after phone call after phone call to get my refund and being told over and over that they're "pretty sure" it was processed and am I sure I didn't receive it, the girl finally said oh maybe it wasn't done yet. I finally just got my $55 refund on 12/4/17. Completely ridiculous and unprofessional. Half the time I couldn't get through to them on the phone and the other half they just told me what I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. So glad I ended up not renting from them. More...

They Switched Our Management Manager a day before we moved in, they didn't give us our mail key, they didn't know the mailbox number to our unit they didn't tell us the which one was our parking spot they blamed us for a clogged a/c, they were charging us for a pool key they charged us for normal wear and tear on the carpet. I would give less stars. <br>I also should have read reviews before renting from them. <br>They're management is horrible, rude, disrespectful, uncaring, and SLOW. <br>I rented with fake grass (SPECIFICALLY, this is Vegas; not Cali) <br>They put real grass in 3 weeks after I signed the lease with out me having any right to agree or disagree. And any maintenance fees are now for me to take care of. <br>Their landscaping company "excellent landscaping" never showed back up to cut it down after growing for 3 weeks. <br>I went out of town and came back to a jungle in my back yard, 2 unnecessary fruit trees drop tons of rotten fruit into the wet grass, a figure 8 of dead grass went across the entire yard because sprinklers were covered.<br>My dogs now have skin allergies that they have to take 200 medicine for a MONTH, there are wasps, bees, nasty flies festering on wet poop, mud and moss are every where now &amp; it tracks onto my patio and inside my house. <br>It's a mentraucyoty in my ENTIRE back yard.<br>4 months later they still don't care. They hardly message back or they try to force blame on me. They still will not put back in fake grass after I've offered to pay for it MULTIPLE times. <br>This is suppose to be my sanctuary for me and my son/dogs. It's been an anxiety racking money pit that I have to avoid and I have absolutely no support from 'KELLER N JADE'. <br>If this was in my front yard HOA would not be having it I can tell you that. <br><br>I can not wait to leave this residency. <br>I will NEVER recommend these people. Sucks that they have so many good locations under their belt.<br><br>3 months later update: <br>Update on my backyard. <br>Still have not received any maintenance help. They've sent people out twice and they have yet to done anything other than look at it. <br>The owner specifically doesn't want fake grass for some psychotic reason he's made up in his head, he literally said he's put rock in the entire back yard. Like what? Why spend that much, have that much labor put in, and waste that much beautiful space? .. probably because he doesn't want to give something that's being asked for... hmm. Childish &amp; horrible ownership manners. I'm sure if he dipped out of his country club environment to see what I have to deal with then maybe he'd actually have some sympathy towards my stressful situation. <br> I had MY lawn maintenance guys reseed now that fall has hit and we have a few patches of life trying to come through finally.<br> It's just sad that this company is so inconsiderate towards their tenants. My son still can't play on this huge piece of our yard. It's horrible to look at everyday, my patio is always disgusting so I takes constant cleaning attention, bugs every where, and the house's entire foundation is sinking so it floods back here every time the sprinklers go off. <br><br> I also loved paying for my garage to be repaired. <br>It was installed wrong and came off the hinges and was inches away from falling onto two of my cars underneath of it. <br> When I asked for them to send a work order they hired a company that billed us 245.00 .. anything 250 or over they pay. Hahahaha, funny how they worked that on out. <br> When I asked in concern as to why I had to pay for something that was initially done wrong and why it coincidentally came out to 245.00 they gave me nothing but disrespectful blunt comments back, and also tried saying that this lawn complication is my fault. This company is legitimately gross. They have HORRIBLE customer service skills and they hire people to make good yelp reviews for them. <br>So sad. I Leased three different properties from Keller N Jadd. The first was OK and I got most of my deposit back because I left it in better then move in condition. Had walk through with agent and he said awesome no problem getting my deposit but of course they always look for something to charge for like the felt weather trim on sliding glass door missing. Well I guess they forgot the reason for my 30 day move out concerning the really high utility bill and their excuse was cheaper windows, doors and bad window and door seals. Well OK at least I gat most of it back. Then comes their next home, awesome neighbor hood but house was run down and needed a lot of work and they said no problem make a list and we will take care of it. Well they where taking a little longer then expected and promised it would be ready in time but very close. I loaded all my stuff in Uhaul truck and stayed a few day's at my mothers. They call and tell me come on down and get the keys your beautiful new home is ready for move in. Went down paid the rest of the money got the keys grabbed the moving truck got to the house and it looked the same stinky, dirty messy house it was before all that wait. I called them and they acted surprised that it hasn't been done yet and said they would call back. 20 minutes later they said the people they use to prep the properties are on the way. Well no show by 6pm and we emptied the truck and packed the garage full (we also had to clean the garage before unloading) and took the truck back so no more rental fee. The cleaners didn't get to the house till about 11am and started cleaning and said it would be finished that day but I didn't think could. I had a lot off things to do and told them if they finished before I get home lock up. I get back and the first thing the pet store hamster cage pee smell stops you in your tracks. I called in the morning and they said it was done, I told them to come on out to see and they said cleaners are an the way. Well a day later at 7am 5 Vacuum bags of pet hair and 9 hours later I give the cleaners credit for trying but they could not get it clean in the allotted time and rate they are paid. The Cleaners said they do not shampoo and the other thing that was needed. Call realty in morning they said the last tenants had the carpet cleaned, I told them to talk to cleaners about the 5 bags of pet hair and the pet store smell and they said they would show me the carpet cleaning receipt. Well I had to have it cleaned and pay for it my self and they told me the owner of the house did not want to do most of the repairs because it was just a rental house. I stayed the 1 year lease then gave notice to move they asked the reason and I told them it was dilapidated home that stinks and in need of repairs. A few days later the realty called back to tell they are sorry for the problems and could help me with a much better property and VIP service. I gave them another try and found anther home that was owned by the realty company, It wasn't that nice but an upgrade from the last dump. I lived their for five months and had to have another shoulder surgery because the last one failed. At this time I was a little low on cash and now without temp disability insurance with time off from work would be a financial problem. I talked with Mr. Keller himself and stated my concern and told I pay 1 more month rent move out before the first and have the property rental ready and that I did with 187 pictures and move out video. I new I would loose my large deposit that was to be expected. I moved out  and house was rented within one month as verified by the next door neighbor and all was cool with no calls no email no letter till 6 months later when I checked credit karma and found that he filed a judgement against me for almost $10,000. Well I guess I should have gone the other rout like some people and stayed not have been able to pay rent go through full eviction and left the house a complete mess, that would have benefitted me financially and saved me a bundle and I would have still the same credit problem. But I guess that what you get for doing the right thing. Not one late rental or lease payment in lifetime!<br>Shame on you Keller N' Jadd  rip off Realty<br>Renters Beware! More...

One of the worst property management companies I've ever dealt with. I rented a condo from Keller N' Jadd in an HOA community and received several harassing letters from the HOA regarding a dog I never owned. They listed this property as per friendly without checking with the HOA rules about renters in this particular community. The HOA could sent some picture claiming I had dogs in my place; none whatsoever; I own a cat; paid my deposit for one, but still charged a violation fee. No protection or backing from Keller N' Jadd just told to pay the fine;<br>Moved out; sent a huge bill for old rundown carpet and oh this is a good one; and old smoke detector. Do not lease a home from this company. I'd say they have bad customer service but first they must provide such a service. If you have a maintenance issue it takes about 5 phone calls to get a response, that is just a response with no action taken . Plan and calling another 5 times. Garage door broken and car stuck in the garage, who cares. AC is out, big deal.  Charges for sub par maintenance and Phantom late fees. I know I'm missing a lot more but I don't have the time to state everything. I had to go to the Assessor's website and mail the owner a letter to get some action taken. What a Joke. More...

Great real-estate management company that has a great selection and can get you into a good place quickly. As a tenant I found great reaponse time on maintenance requests and below-average response time from my landlord in particular. The process of negotiating a new contract after living in the same place for a year was still drawn-out and painful. It took the staff a long time to negotiate a new deal. I cannot speak for the checkout experience, but I imagine it to be fair and average. Overall a good, reputable company which provides fair services to landlords and tenants. I've had no regrets. There is no honor among thieves, including this property management company. This company fails in all aspects of customer service.  Phone calls and emails are often not returned. Seriously...customer service is all ABOUT communicating with the customer.  How can you run a business and not return calls and emails?  Maybe it is because they don't give a damn about their customers and only care about what is in their wallets. <br><br>Requests to attend final property walk-throughs are not acknowledged. Initial condition reports are not compared to final condition reports and customers are incorrectly charged for repair costs. Customers are also charged for cleaning costs for items that are not indicated anywhere on the lease. Good lord, how does this type of incompetence stay in business?  Maybe it's because the one thing they excel at it draining every nickel and dime they can squeeze from their customers. All of their business practices seem sketchy at best.<br><br>I never missed a rent payment, kept the property in top condition, and even made improvements, none of which were ever acknowledged. I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB in order to get my deposit back. I am not impressed with this company and will never do business with them again, and will do my best to spread the word to others.  There are plenty of other capable and professional property management companies that will deal with you fairly.  This is not one of them. This is actually Crystal's mother, but I received outstanding service with Keller n Jadd. I put in two maintenance request, and the issues were resolved PRONTO, and efficiently, which I was not accustomed to after the previous landlord. This company stays on top of everything. Their handyman, Jimmy, completed the work and did an outstanding job. The dryer was also fixed quickly.

I warn everyone to be very careful who you choose as a landlord. My previous experience was a nightmare. Keller n Jadd can be trusted and are very helpful!

I should have read the reviews myself. I've never seen more incompetent people in my whole life.<br>The front receptionist is condescending and rude. <br>Once you sign your lease they ignore your calls.<br>My rep was always in "meetings" which really means...they don't want to bother. One time I was by the front door and called for my rep,...and I was told she was in a "meeting" when I walked in..I saw her at the front desk chatting with the receptinist. ..nice . I saw her duck around the corner ....as if I didn't see her. They make so many mistakes and are never accountable.  STAY AWAY from this company if you can. Absolutely rude and incompetent group. The receptinist is either extremely stupid or she just doesn't have the ability to reason. She'll repeat herself and contradict what she is saying and then make you feel like you don't understand. We recently moved to Las Vegas and was recommended Keller N Jadd by my boss.  The rental process was smooth and the staff was accommodating. Sadly, while new to vegas, we were involved in a car accident which put us in a bit of a financial hardship. We were able to speak with both the staff and owners about our situation. They have been more than accommodating. My boyfriend's dad had to undergo two hip replacement surgeries which put us again in a tight spot, and this company has truly worked with us above and beyond. We are truly blessed to have them as our rental company. At any point when I email, within the next hour someone writes back. They have been so supportive and understanding. The rental property is great. Everyone who has assisted us is genuine and regardless of our unfortunate circumstances, they don't judge, but truly treat us like family. More...

This is a review I should have written years ago.  I do not recommend Keller N Jadd.  They "managed" our home rental a few years back.  When they had a chance to collect from our tenant that bailed early on their lease, they did not.  Said "that's just the way it is".  They then had the audacity to send us to collections for the tenants utility bill.  Even though we paid it, the "collection" remains on our credit report.  They declined an offer for a buyout of the lease to the tune of $5000.00 from the tenant, then expected us to buy the final electric bill.  <br><br>DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT recommend Keller N Jadd for property management.  I'm surprised they are still in business. Keller N Jadd took advantage of us.<br><br>We were from out of state and looking online for a house to rent.  We applied online based on the listing showing the house as 'available' which cost $110 for two applications (separate fee for each renter).  When I called the next day to confirm receipt, I was told the house was NOT available and they didn't know when it would be available, since the owner was still living in it.  <br><br>Keller N Jadd refused to refund our money even though they made it clear they could not meet our deadline.  Only after filing with the BBB did they offer a partial refund 'in good faith', as if it was our fault.  Well I guess it was our fault--they lied and we believed them.  This must be how Keller N Jadd pays their overhead, by collecting application fees from unsuspecting people.  Very disappointed that a real estate company would take advantage of potential future home buyers.  Keller N Jadd obviously believes there is an unlimited supply of application fees out there.  Well, we may have just moved here, but we have already and will continue to spread the word about Keller N Jadd. We've been renting a home managed my Keller n' Jadd for a couple months now. Upon moving in, it seemed like every time we turned around, there was something else that wasn't working as it was supposed to. Sarah has been on top of ensuring that all our needs have been met and she has been on top of making sure that all of our appliances have been working properly. I will never use this company again, they are horrible. The apartment I moved into was not cleaned properly and when I asked why they said because the cleaning lady doesn't clean that part? ! What? So window seals and base boards do not need to be cleaned. They take weeks to fix anything or they tell you they can send someone and you can pay the bill. They are not helpful at all. They purposely ignore your phone calls, but answer your emails very unfriendly. The apartment I rented needs serious help and they have sent people to do horrible jobs at fixing it and then gave me the materials and told me to keep it up by fixing it myself instead of replacing what needs to be replaced. Never, ever rent from them. They have no idea what customer service entails. Even if you find an apartment that you think is a great price, and they are friendly and helpful in the beginning, do not do it. My friend in a completely different apartment, but rented through them, is having the same issues (we rented at the same time). If you are going to believe any yelp review, believe this one. I used Keller and JADD management for about a year to rent my apartment and I was not impressed.  I was constantly speaking to a new employee and nobody who I'd spoken to about matters previously still worked there. I am not sure why the have such I high turnover rate but it leads to serious management and liability issues.  Nobody has a clue what the last (absentee) employee did or said.   The cherry on top is when I took over managing my unit last month,  I found my unit in disrepair with numerous damages!  I spent a few thousand dollars repairing the walls, paint, carpeting, tile, two doors, and a new garbage disposal.  The deposits had all been returned and no notes or mention of the damages had ever been brought to my attention!   If you value your investment I recommend finding a quality management firm.        WHY IS MY REVIEW NOT RECOMMENDED !!! I will never us this company again and will go out of my way to sway anyone I talk to, also to never use them.  They have never heard of normal wear and tear of the property if your place doesn't look exactly the way they expect it to be you will lose most of your deposit, and it not a little one.

Keller n jadd is the worst property management company I have ever had to deal with in my life. I am so in love with my rental but am saying goodbye to get away from this terrible customer service. This company does not care at all about tenants. I have come to the point where I am willing to pay any dollar amount to get away from my lease and away from this disrespect. Keller n jadd has given me such a head ache for months upon months and would do the same to you. If you need a faucet replaced or have a toilet clogged, be prepared to wait almost two weeks and go through tons of maintenance stops that you have to be home for just for them to say "okay well be back in a couple of days when we get permission" wtf? The house is breaking, just fix it. I've had better maintenance experiences in much cheaper town homes. They won't let me pay online or with a check any longer because of a chronological error that was made online-that my bank apologized for. I now have to go to the grocery store to get a money order and drive across town to drop off my rent. So inconvenient and although I called wondering why my check hadn't been cashed and the lazy woman at the front told me everything was okay instead of just checking into my paper work like I asked and then they called a couple of days later telling me I have a $50 dollar fine and I would no longer be able to pay online or with a check because of "company policy"  when my bank was saying I've had the funds just waiting there for my rent and I was not trying to get over on anyone.
