What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The most important job I have is getting to know the person or people I am working with so that I can express their personality in the photograph. Anyone with the technical skills can take beautiful images, but to me, those still images mean nothing if they do not depict the characteristics of the people in them.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
This question is too broad. Each client is unique so a preset list of questions seems pointless to me. With that said, I like to just strike up conversations with my clients and let the questions come naturally. My goal by the end of our initial meeting period is to have both of us relaxed to the point where it is a casual conversation. If we get to that point, the questions I have should answer themselves.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with others is my absolute favorite part about what I do. The results I provide are the most important aspect for my clients and while I make sure I hold that high standard, the clients are the most important aspect for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am passionate and hard working. Starting my own business was always a dream of mine. I didn't always know what type of business I would start until I got my hands on my first DSLR camera.
Why should our clients choose you?
I love what I do and nothing makes me happier than getting to see the happiness my photos bring to others. Our sessions will feel more like hanging out while the results will show it was still business.
