Can’t say enough good things about David and KC Elite. We got a very stubborn and smart mini Aussie puppy in February, 2017. After having another trainer come to unsuccessfully treat train her I knew we needed something better. We needed better tools to help her become a part of our family. I started looking into trainers I came across KC Elite. I was reluctant to commit to the money. One morning I realized Aspen had learned our routine so well that she wouldn’t come inside if she knew we were leaving. I spent 45min one morning trying everything short of waving a raw steak in front of her to get her to come. I called David that morning and after the first lesson we knew we had made the right choice. We've been working with Kelvin to train our large mixed breed puppy. He's is amazing with our (pretty smart, VERY stubborn) puppy. Kelvin is extremely patient, and he's kind to the dogs, and the dogs really listen to him. When we had some trouble with our puppy's leash manners, Kelvin took him for the entire day and worked with him while I went to work. He responds to questions and texts really quickly, and always has suggestions for behavioral stuff that crops up. I'd highly recommend him. More...

We just finished all of our training sessions with David for our golden doodle puppy and it was a fantastic experience ! I was shocked by how much she learned just after our first visit. I love that they will come to your own home so that the dog is in a familiar space but we also went to dog parks, Home Depot, on walks around our neighborhood, everyday things so that she would get to socialize with other dogs and people which was great because she used to be so scared of other people or dogs. We rescued a hound/lab mix who was one and a half. He was a stray, and had been in the shelter for several months when we rescued him. Our dog was able to sit and that was it. Our dog was/is strong, and was jumping, biting, hard to manage on walks, would eat anything and everything, pulling on walks, jumping on tables, was essentially still a puppy who was very treat motivated. I started training at 5 1/2 months with David to condition my puppy to be the best possible dog he could be and I am absolutely THRILLED with the results of David’s work. I was dedicated to training on my own, but there are priceless pieces of advice David was able to point out and show me that has resulted in one very proud puppy mama! David started working with me to train my 1 year old Golden/Lab. After only two sessions, he was walking off leash! I knew he was trainable, but I just didn't have the right tools to keep me consistent until now. My dog's responsiveness has motivated me to work with him for an hour every day. I actually look forward to our training time! I've also started applying the training techniques with my 9 year old Golden Retriever, and he is responding superbly! David worked with us and our two dogs. I never used to take them out on a walk because I couldn't handle the dogs pulling the leash, plus two kids under 3. Now we are on Heritage Trail very frequently, off leash! Using just voice commands they will avoid people, dogs, cats and even rabbits! KC Elite is worth the money. Thank you David! More...

Best decision for the entire family, especially for a furry kid. It is a joy walking our Bud off leash and we are no longer embarrassed when he greats other furry friends as well as those “big” humans. Our main concerns: accidents in our home, pulling while on leash, escaping our home and running throughput our neighborhood ( scary for all) and not listening. We started looking for a puppy at the local rescues and in the end adopted two! We just couldn't decide between sisters so both girls ended up coming home with us. We hired KC Elite when the pups were right at 4 months old. Initially we were planning to join a group class because that is what we had done in the past but a friend recommended KC Elite. David came out and met us and our puppies and from that first encounter we have really been impressed with his knowledge and effectiveness in training us and our dogs. We have trained at our home, at the dog park, at Home Depot, at PetSmart, at U Wash Puppy and even in our truck. David listens to what we want and where we are having problems and plans training activities to help us achieve our goals. Our girls are 7 months old. I have never loved being a dog owner as much as I do now! I am proud to have people meet our puppies and see how smart and good they are. When we started training our Golden Retriever puppy, Jax, was about 6 months old. The biggest issue we had was leash pulling but other than that he didn’t have any major issues, I just did not feel confident in myself as a dog owner. I looked around at different dog training places and then posted on Facebook to see what worked for others. I saw KC Elite Dog training, talked to my boyfriend, who actually went to college with the owner. So we decided to go for it. Jeremy was the one we trained with. His first visit was free to meet Jax, us, and go over pricing. I was all in from the first meeting. There were about 7-8 sessions, once a week or so. We learned a TON of different things to help Jax. One of the best things was learning how to walk him on a long and short leash without him pulling. I can now walk him without a leash - no problem. Jeremy was helpful every step of the way. He was a great teacher and offered helpful guidance when I needed to adjust what I was doing. He was flexible with scheduling too! I would suggest KC Elite Dog training to anyone! We can’t say enough amazing things about David and KC Elite! We decided to give it a shot after reading other client’s reviews. We have a 5 year old Goldendoodle and Mini Aussie who love jumping on people, barking, and displaying their worst manners when guest come around. Since we have started training they have done a complete 180. We are able to leave them alone in the backyard without barking, they sit and wait for guest to enter our home before greeting them, and I’m still in disbelief they can walk off-leash! It seems surreal when people compliment our dogs and how well behaved they are in public! It is an amazing feeling to regain control of our dogs! One of the best parts is the dogs LOVE the training, they feel confident and show how proud they are of themselves when they master a new command! Kelvin has been an excellent dog trainer. We adopted Moe, a St.Bernard in Jan. Moe had no idea how to behave around strangers and on walks. Not to mention I have a huge fear of dog to dog interactions. It has only been 4 lessons and Moe sits and waits patiently to be pet by strangers instead of barking and showing aggression, we went to the park and he listened to me and didn't pull me off my feet. And the biggest part is that Kelvin has been patient and understanding with me so we can start dog to dog introductions without me freaking out. Our two boys, Buddy and Baxter, have been working with Kelvin Parker, KC Elite/KpK9 dog training for a little over a month. Kelvin has done a phenomenal job with the boys! He was very patient with both dogs and us adults who needed a little reminder on what we needed to do, lol. He did all the training that was promised on the brochure and got our rambunctious pups to behave and actually learn! Where do I start? I adopted Darla, a boxer, when she was 1 year old. She displayed aggression toward other dogs which completely limited my ability to take her on runs and to the dog park. She was also notorious for jumping the fence. Fast forward to today. David is helping train our 9 years old Cavishon that was terrible on walks and our new 7 month old chocolate lab, who let's say has a lot of enthusiasm at best. The Cavishon has done amazingly well and both my husband and I wish we would have done this years ago. So you can train an old dog new tricks. I adopted a 1 year old boxer mix from KC Pet Project about 2 months ago. Although he was always a friendly dog, he was out of control. He was always pulling, jumping, barking, etc. It made walks very difficult and unenjoyable. I called David and in just a couple visits, he was a completely different dog. I can now take him for walks off leash and completely trust him. He no longer pulls on leash or freaks out when he sees other dogs. David with KC Elite dog training is awesome! We came to him with our dog Violet who didn't want to get along with any other dogs and was actually aggressive towards dogs at times. Today we spent almost an hour in the dog park with Violet socializing with other dogs and having the time of her life! She has come a very long way and we owe all of that to David! David is a godsend in my eyes. When we first got our dog Simon to say that he had some issues was an understatement. While he was very loving, he was dog aggressive, would practically drag me if he saw a rabbit, and was terrible on a leash. David helped Simon build confidence in himself and us. I got a German Shepherd Dog at age 8 weeks and though cute she quickly became over whelming as she grew bigger and bigger. She was jumping and nipping at us constantly, to the point where we would have to put her outside just to sit and relax on the couch. Literally after one session with David, she was like a changed dog. She rarely jumps, but when she does we tell her “off” and she stops. She also doesn’t hard bite anymore. She used to chase the cats around the house and now sleeps beside them on the floor. And now after only two sessions we are now off leashing walking and playing. She comes and sits when told so, she stops doing something bad when told so, she is just so much more enjoyable now. I can’t wait to keep learning things with David to make her an even better pup! I will echo other reviews and say that I wish we would have contacted David sooner. We have an (almost) 3 year old golden doodle. I got to the point where I was nervous anytime someone would come over to the house. She would jump all over them, wouldn't listen to basic commands, and we would need to keep her on a leash anytime people were over. Now, after 5 session we have managed to walk around in public without a leash, she knows to stay in a certain place when company comes over until she is invited to say hello, and is becoming the dog we have always wanted. I'll start by saying that I have a 70lb German Shepherd. We worked with her really hard taking her to dog parks and doggie day care to get her used to people and other dogs. We moved and tried a new daycare. We took her 10 to 15 times over the course of a few months at this new place (a gift from the in-laws so that we could keep her socialized). What we found the next time we took her to the dog park in the spring was that she had become very aggressive towards other dogs. It didn't take rocket science to figure out that this new daycare probably wasn't the best solution for our dog. It made her aggressive, we had no idea why or how but this place broke our sweet dog. We had always had issues with her listening to us, she was stubborn and would pull as hard as you would expect a wild 70lb German Shepherd to pull. We tried training her ourselves using various methods we found online and nothing seemed to stick. We started to fear what would happen if a kid climbed our fence or otherwise got in our backyard and being the protective dog she is, bit them. We were worried she would get into a fight and be hurt or we would be forced to put her down. That's when we met David. At first I wasn't sold on the collar idea, but I put it on my hand (and later my own neck) and tried pressing the handheld button. What I found was, it didn't hurt as much as it was a quick uncomfortable feeling. It got my attention and if I were doing something you didn't want me to do, I would probably stop, but my dog routinely smacks her head on doors, walls, trees, my shins and her pain tolerance is far higher than my own. If you were a very cruel person you could use this as something to abuse your dog with, but that's the last thing anyone I worked with at KC Elite wanted. I never once felt like I was abusing or hurting my dog. At times she would yelp when I had the collar set at it's lowest level (because it scared her, she also yelps at plastic bags) and other times it would barely faze her turned all the way up, when another dog got too close. It was never about making her yelp, rather getting her attention, getting her to break focus and listen to what I was saying. Something I had never been able to do before KC Elite.There are all sorts of training methods for dogs and your preference is your own but I know that after 6-7 sessions with David our dog that I love more than 99.9% of people on this planet (seriously if you're reading this right now and I had to make a choice of who lives between you and the dog, you would need to get your affairs in order) listens, she doesn't pull on her leash, she doesn't freak out at other dogs and we recently had friends over, not only did she not get aggressive towards them we had to keep her off their laps. Our biggest fear used to be her hurting someone or something and us being forced to put her down, now she's a completely different dog. I can't recommend KC Elite enough. More...

After about 10 minutes with Kristie, we had our Stu back!!!! On Sunday, out of nowhere, our rescue, Stu, started viciously attacking our Yellow Lab Gus. The attacks continued for no apparent reason�. I called KC Elite, and David had Kristie come out the day I called. Stu's first training session was yesterday. The results from her training were immediate !!!! We have a under 1 year old Havanese who would not listen to any command we would give her. After 1 week with Kristie she would come when you call, walk with us easy. After 4 weeks she would sit, heel and go to her bed and stay. Kristie loves what she does and it shows! She treated our girl as if she was her own, showing her love and affection.
