Kathryn Howard Family Therapy

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a credential School Counselor specializing in Child Welfare who recently opened a private practice serving the San Fernando Valley. As the previous Assistant Principal and Director of Students Services at CHAMPS Charter High School, I made the academic and social-emotional needs of students my priority. Prior to CHAMPS, I co-founded the PUC School-Based Therapy program in schools located in the Northeast San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles. The school-based program provided individual, group and family therapy to low income families within the school setting. In addition, served as the Director of Recreation at West Valley Special Education Center which provided recreational therapy for severe to moderate students with disabilities.
I offer a range of therapy services specializing in Children, Adolescents and Families. With over 20 years providing support programs in schools, I have the experience and understanding of challenges that can impact academic success.
