I knew I wanted to do a photo session with my 1 year old twins on my recent trip to Maui. I did quite a bit of shopping around and found that Steve Kast provided not only one of the lowest prices for a family photo shoot but also a longer time slot than many other photographers were offering (60 minutes instead of the standard 30 minutes, which came in handy with my squirmy kids! ) Steve was very responsive and flexible throughout the booking process and the photo shoot. I had a specific location I wanted to do the shoot and Steve took the time to scout it out beforehand. He was very patient with the kids throughout the shoot and got back our photos within just a few days. And most importantly, they turned out so well! I couldn't be happier with the experience. There was a miscommunication partially my fault so I didn't get to have my photos done, but Steve went above and beyond to try to shoot for another day but couldn't due to other plans. He even refunded my deposit that I wasn't expecting. I would definitely be using him in the near future. More...

Our family had a fantastic experience with Steve from Kast Photography. He was prompt, had chosen an unbelievable spot that had all aspects of landscape to enjoy and use for backdrops, and was easy to work with. We moved locations (within the same site) 4 different times to get unique and incredible shots. He was affordable and amazing at what he does. He obviously enjoys his work as well. An amazing experience from start to finish! Steve was prompt in his replies for setting up and arranging the shoot AND quick with editing and getting us our digital files! (YAY for not being forced to buy expensive print packages!) We visited Maui for our fifth anniversary, and this was a great way to get unique updated photos as well as a great way to remember our first trip to the island. I went into the shoot only knowing I wanted fantastic pictures. Steve took the stress out of it by having wonderful suggestions of backdrops, poses, and little tips to make each photo the BEST!
