I love working with Kara's Mom! She has photographed my whole family & both of my boys since they were days old. The first time I contacted her when only 4 months pregnant I was worried she would think I was crazy, over the top. She assured me it was good and I loved that she checked in with me periodically throughout my pregnancy. We had a fantastic first year of portraits with her. My second son was born a week before Christmas. She squeezed us in before Christmas. She is so patient with the babies & kids! I'm always impressed by the amazing pics she's able to get even when my kids are not being cooperative! We always end up with so many great pics I have the hardest time choosing the ones to print & frame! Her whole process is laid out nicely and everything is so detailed and described perfectly up front. I hate that we are moving away. I would have loved to use her for years and years to come. More...

What an amazing experience my daughters newborn photos were. I was so worried about it being a madness due to her being 3 weeks old. We were in the middle of a move and her arrival early - we just did not get to it sooner. When calling she set realistic expectations that a 3 week old baby may not be the same as a 1 week old but that she was confident she could create something beautiful nonetheless. It proofed really fast that my worries of madness were unwarranted. From the time she took him out of his car seat and for the entire 3+ hours session - she was incredible, gentle, soft and her eye for colors and set up is flawless. She is incredible - when I say she is the baby whisperer that's an absolute understatement! It was amazing watching her work her magic. Patience of a saint. I came across Kara’s Mom website early on in my pregnancy and booked her right away. I was so excited for months leading up to our daughter's newborn session - One thing that really kept the excitement going was her checking in on me periodically and really sharing into my excitement of notnonly my upcoming session but also the arrival of my daughter. When the day of our session finally arrived, it did not disappoint. Kara’s Mom is amazingly talented and works meticulously to capture the perfect image. She is very patient and gives great direction and always explains what she is going to do with the baby. I have used Kara's Mom Photography for several professional shots of my 3 children and have to say that she delivers 110%!
Tanja's photos always capture my girls at just the right moment when they are letting their true personalities show through. Her patience for little children cannot be beat! I have used her photographs to decorate my entire house at this point and can't wait to add more over the years. Topnotch service and quality!
I can't recommend Kara's Mom Photography enough if you want someone who knows what they are doing and delivers as expected every time.

She is Very good at what she does. we had a hard time at finding a newborn photographer and she was very willing to drop everything and squeeze us in for a shoot at very last minute. she knows exactly how to work with Newborns and other children of different ages. there is a good verity of sets and props to choose from is you have a preference. i have worked with many photographers on pictures for my children, and she is one of the best in the area :) More...
