I know many of you have been with me and sully. Wether it be family, dog lover, friend or colleague.He is my guy. I am so not sorry he is in my life. I am blessed to have such a faithful friend.After 4 years though, of his constant reactivity. His anxiousness, I was not able to control even on medication. This Leads to the worst and best day of my life.... 12/1/19. Drop off day. In the back of my head, I worried, if this didn’t work, where are gonna be? I fought with him for 30 minutes to get his muzzle on. He was was bleeding from dew claw getting stuck trying to pull the muzzle Off. I was crying... this was going to be the last thing he remembers. Me being forceful... keep the muzzle on it will be ok. I am leaving you with these 2 humans. Praying they can help us. I am just gonna walk away and pray she can help us. He is not a person reactive dog, but, I have never done something like this before, so I didn’t know what to think. I wanted safety. So the muzzle is necessary.You expressed your anxiety's and resistance to going in. Yet these guys are ok.They cleaned you up. Made you see it is ok. It is not going to be easy, but they are there to protect you. Raise you up. Show you your potential. They are going to help us move forward with our lives. They are going to help you see how brave and capable you are! This is a very true encounter of needing this training. I love sully so much. I was having non stop anxiety, worry and nightmares that something would happen with his reactivity.... my lack of skill to control it, and my lack of ability to help him be in a positive state of mind. I now don’t have all the answers, but I do have skills from trainings to go from. It is still a daily thing, but it is so much less scary.Since going home I have sent so many questions to @kane9dogtrining and advocacy. All my questions were addressed with out judgement.I could not provide a greater recommendation. @kane9 has helped to get our lives back to a healthier home life! I got my dog, Alicia, back from the 2 week board and train program 3 days ago and I couldn’t be happier. She attended for overall manners but mostly for her dog reactivity. Kaitlin did an excellent job and laid a beautiful foundation down for us to continue building on back home. Alicia was a bit tense and confused about having to do the same work at home, but within a day and a half she was following commands like I never could have imagined. Her leash manners are phenomenal and we can now safely walk around other dogs because I have the tools I need to work her through scary situations. I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome and would recommend Kaitlins services to anyone who struggles with any behavioral issues or who just want a respectful pup! So thankful for Kane9! My guy, Pete boarded with Kaitlin for a weekend before I officially adopted him. He had shown some reactivity towards other dogs and his co-existence was a big concern for me while deciding to adopt. We highly recommend Kane9!! Kaitlin took in Zoey for her board and train program and 2 weeks later, we picked up a new dog! Zoey has been an anxious girl ever since we adopted her 3 years ago which showed up mostly as leash reactivity, growling and nipping at strangers/dogs/our daughter, hiding, explosions on walks, the list goes on. Kaitlin helped Zoey to be a calmer, respectful, and thoughtful dog so she can make good decisions at home and elsewhere. We’ve seen Zoey’s anxiety just melt away and she’s no longer in a frantic mindset. What a difference! An important part of Kaitlin’s work is the education she provides so that we can be the best owners for our dog. Kaitlin is very thoughtful as she explains why and how we can advocate for Zoey. She makes sure we understand and feel comfortable with our new tools and skills and we now have the confidence to maintain Zoey’s progress at home. I am the proud fur baby mom of a four month old female catalouha mix pup. One of my friends recommended Kane9 to me, and I feel very fortunate to have found Kaitlin when I did. We have had one one-on-one session and one educational daycare session so far and I’ve already seen so much improvement! Her training and advice have made a huge difference in the communication and bond Cali and I are building. Staying in the place command is hard-work for a highly energetic puppy, but teaching her place has made such a huge difference in her behavior at home. I brought my one and a half year old dog, Lola, to Kane9 training because I had been struggling with Lola pulling on walks, literally for an hour plus sometimes. Lola was so nervous passing people and reactive when she saw squirrels. Kane9 training helped me understand the effectiveness of a prong collar. Within 30 minutes with Kane 9, she was able to heel and find peace while talking on the leash. The constant connection that we had, via the prong collar, created a lot of healthy communication. We had a board and train weekend with KANE9 Dog Training for our dog Kai. He was abandoned by his first owners for showing dog aggression. We rescued him and found he truly loves some dogs, but has fear aggression toward other dogs because of his anxious nature. We tried basic obedience classes, training books, and tips we learned from online training sites. When nothing seemed to work, we knew we needed to try something else. That's when we got a recommendation to contact Kaitlin! And I am so thankful we did. In just 3 days with Kaitlin, Kai is well on his way to becoming a more calm and balanced dog.
