I purchased an elastic e-collar a couple months ago. I must say that this is the best $27.50 I have ever spent. The website listed their lead time at 2 weeks and I had my collar within 5 days from across the country. I purchased the collar for use with a Dogtra 200c. The fit was very good and the material has shown no wear at all. My puppy is a 110 pound Bernese Mountain Dog and he must wear the collar at all times because he is deaf. He is not bothered by the collar at all. He was not a big fan of the one supplied with the device. It’s easy on and off ensure that anyone in my family can put it on and I don’t have to worry about the collar being too tight or too loose. That used to be a challenge with his thick coat. I have recommended this to everyone I know that could use it as well as the trainer that initially trained our pup. Very well done!! I look forward to purchasing more from you. More...

Can we start by requesting more stars than 5 because this place is amazing! We are part of a dog training program in the Bay Area that has introduced us to K9 tactical gear as it is used in their facility. I was super happy to learn that K9 is in Rocklin as we have family in the Sacramento area. This weekend we were fortunate enough to stop in store in our way to Tahoe and boy am I glad we did! Shelby is a rockstar! Not only was she super helpful in finding the gear we have longed to purchase from k9, she was also very delightful! She didn't have to share that this is a family owned business for us to know. Her energy and dedication  in customer service was enough for us to know how much passion and pride they share for the dog world! If you can go to the shop they are super friendly, helpful and very quick. Their gear is very high quality. If you have to shop by mail, or phone they are still helpful, friendly but not as quick. Their shop is also quite charming.

This is by far the best dog accessory store I've been to. Everything is hand made and can be custom if needed in house. I had the best customer service I've had in a long time. They stayed after close to help me figure out all the options that would work for my dog and myself. I was so happy when I left here. I've been telling friends every chance I get. These people are awesome. I met them at hits last year right before k9 school. As I came out of k9 school I was looking for a waist leash and I like their elite series leash. The only prob was it only came in 4’, but I needed a shorter one. I contacted them on Instagram with my request, someone got back to me the next morning telling me they could do that and who to contact. So, I contacted that person and added another request. I asked if they would put a different clasp then they usually use on that leash. And again they were more then willing to accommodate the request!! I've been following K9 tactical gear on Instagram for the longest time. Biggest fan of all their gear, the beliefs, and just their care for the canine community and their pride in their gear. I hadn't found anything better, found many similar brands and products, but honestly, nothing compares to K9 tactical. Coming from the East Bay, the trip to Rocklin isn't insane but it's not the most casual of drives. I had a free day, our K9 trainer just introduced a Herm Springer Collar for corrective behavior and said that we can only get it online. I was like oh, this must be a sign. I have been wanting to visit K9 tactical gear in person anyways. They have a larger variety online and the shipping is only $5 and quick, but sometimes it's just better to be there in person. Stopped by casually on Monday and it was easy to find. Shelby and Kona warmly welcomed us into the store. The shelves were a little empty as they had just moved in about a month ago and getting ready to a huge show! Luckily, they still showed us around and explained the different products and gave her suggestions to us. That customer service cannot be replaced on the internet and I was super grateful. In fact, their extent of customer service is beyond excellent. I couldn't bring my 6 month old Alusky with us that day, but based on pictures and size, she was able to suggest a sizable harness and they didn't have it in her size or the pattern I wanted, so Shelby and her team made one customer INSTANTLY on the spot. How above and beyond is that? I can't even attest to that and the quality was sturdy. The clasps are metal, I mean you might assume that it's expensive, but it worth it and it'll last. I love that all their harnesses have a handle at the top in case you need to grab it easily. Well worth the $70 for that alone. Also grabbed a new tactical leash (45) that came in the most amazing teal color and you could feel the difference between an amazon leash and this quality- the tension was strong and when my puppy pulls, it's less strain on the arms. The Herm Springer Collar Shelby explained the differences to us and suggested one that worked for the type of situations that we were going to be using it for. I'll tell you, I spent a decent amount of money here all for my puppy. But it warms my heart and I know that I picked a good place due to their quality and workmanship. Nothing gets compromised and they are just an overall amazing family-owned business. I've also picked up a collar and name patch from them as well online and never have been disappointed by their products. Two of our K9 trainers shop here often (mind you, one is located in Santa Clara and the other in Socal and Sacramento), so I mean the world is so big but so small at the same time. If you have a chance, stop by. If not, visit them online or instagram. You won't be disappointed, ever. More...
