I hired kasha for my 65 person ojai wedding, and she was AMAZING! So thorough and on top of things and most importantly so zen and relaxed on a high anxiety day. She made our timelines, managed vendors, and even impromptu MC for things like the cake cutting announcement! Our wedding was 6-11-22. Kasha exceeded expectations, starting from setting up a timeline to reaching out to our vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page. She also facilitated our rehearsal. Everything she did made our special day what it was. The night of the wedding I had a wardrobe malfunction and Kasha came to my rescue. That situation could’ve been so upsetting, but she assured me it’s going to be fine. While my dress was being altered in that moment, she was on the ground, literally changing my shoes for me. When we started the process of planning this wedding, we realized we needed help and Kasha was the clear choice for a coordinator. We were able to have the wedding we wanted because of her. This review is a long time coming and I have a lot to say. We got married in July of last year after postponing twice, once for personal reasons and again because of COVID. Kasha was always extremely kind and patient with us. Throughout the process I was extremely scatter brained. I was late turning in her questionnaire explaining what and how we’d like things done that day, messed up on some planned decorations, left out bridal party names, and just overall terribly unorganized. At first some vendors were hesitant (one even questioned “Does she even know what she’s doing?” before even meeting her and completely changed their opinion after. (Says more about that vendor though tbh)) Our wedding was amazing. Kasha decorated the venue for us beautifully even though we had made a mess of the decorations. When we went for our venues deposit the coordinator told us she had an emergency and had to leave and Kasha stepped in to help. The coordinator and staff wouldn’t stop raving about her. They even said Kasha picked up a broom and helped them prepare the venue. I didn’t even know the coordinator wasn’t there until she told us. If that’s not a testament to Kasha’s hard work I don’t know what is. Kasha really does everything she can for you to have a truly wonderful day. Kasha made sure we always knew she had things under control which took a lot of stress and anxiety away. Kasha was amazing from start to finish! She was very responsive and patient with me as my fiancé and I figured out what was the best wedding venue for us. She went out of her way to help us save money and was very thoughtful and took the initiative to offer us tips and suggestions. On the day of the wedding she stepped in to accompany me and my fiancé as we walked around the venue for photos and needed someone to help with my dress train and cathedral veil. I love how I get to put my clients dreams into reality. I really enjoy working with my clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always had an interest in weddings. I see how people struggle the day of their wedding with relatives helping and it takes away the day for their relatives. I want to make a difference in someone's wedding.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very very reasonably priced. I am punctual, I generate a detailed time line. I go above and beyond what other wedding planners do.
Full Wedding/Event Planning
1. Day of Coordination: Providing direct consultation with vendors, on-site coordination with vendors, and direct supervision of all vendors during the party
2. Venue walk-through at least one month before the event.
3. Set up of the event. This includes decorating. (I do not hang drapery or stand on ladders)
4. Day of Break down/clean up after the event as much as permitted.
5. Providing a timeline for day of the event.
6. Distribute final payments to vendors if needed.
7. Client agrees to provide meal for coordinator and staff during event.
