Randy did a wonderful job at our daughter's sweet 16 party with about 60 people invited. He did EVERYTHING we need for the party from the begging to the end, such as planning, decorating the rooms, decorating the tables, DJ, MC, photobooth, hiring a photographer, arranging and decorating dessert tables and many more in the way exactly my daughter wanted. His DJ and MC were so good and all of us had a wonderful time. In addition, he made parent's life so much easier by suggesting many things and answering all questions we have. Randy was the DJ for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. My husband & I asked Randy if he would be available to celebrate our Anniversary Party. He was absolutely the best DJ I have ever heard! He worked with us for about two months alwsys ready to answer any questions that we may have had. Randy would listen to our every request. We hired Randy for our non traditional wedding celebration this past weekend. We couldn't of been more pleased! He was extremely professional, always took the time to talk to me weeks before the event, and was just all around a joy to work with. He was so accommodating throughout the entire process despite how many last-minute changes we had (including on the day of the event). Simply one word, "amazing." Working with Randy was truly very easy and smooth. He truly took control of the crowd keeping everyone on the dance floor at our Valentines Day Dance. He knows the proper music for the proper events. Everyone enjoyed it and is currently BEGGING for another dance. Randy will most certainly be back, sooner than later. What a wonderful experience with DJ Randy! I’m not computer savvy, but I was desperate to find a DJ available at a reasonable price as I had a school’s budget for this semi formal event! I don’t even know exactly how it happened, but by the grace of God Randy called me, and an instant connection was made! I’m NOT a huge recommender, in fact I’m quite critical, as I too, am in the service industry! Having said all this HE WAS GREAT! A fun time was had by all, people were asking for his card to book him for future events, I will without a doubt use him for my next event! The only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars is because no one is perfect, there is ALWAYS room for growth and improvement, but Randy you were pretty darn close! JVE Entertainment / DJ Randy were fantastic to work with, from the initial inquiry to the end of our event. Randy answered all of our questions and clearly communicated all the details of the event and fees so there were no surprises along the way. The best testimony would come from our 6th grade students though - Randy had them all up and dancing and having an absolute blast! He was a perfect emcee who kept the party going, playing all the songs the crowd of kids wanted to hear. And he was part of the party too! So much interaction with the students, he really made it fun for everyone. We were able to get in an extra half hour at the venue and Randy was super flexible and able to accommodate our last minute time extension. It was a great experience for all! If you're reading this review, then you are in the same situation I was a few months back when I was looking for a good DJ who wasn't too expensive. Randy had great reviews, but I never know whether to believe them or not. He called me right away and was so friendly and personable that I decided to go with him. I was handling an upscale 50th High School reunion from out of state, but I used to live in Jersey. Randy explained everything to me and told me to make a playlist of important songs which I sent him. Then I asked about a photo booth, and he explained the options. I added an open air Photo Booth to the order which turned out so great. He suggested I ship the props and backdrop I had ordered to him directly, and he would take care of bringing and setting up in hotel. Fast forward to day of event....Randy showed up early, set up professionally and was a dream come true. He listened and followed through with all we had discussed, keeping the music low early on as classmates wanted to talk. After dinner, he read the crowd and picked up the pace and I watched 100 old farts get up and dance. They loved the photo booth...pictures came out amazing. Randy made everything so easy. How do you turn a nice dinner party with family and friends into a great party? Add a great DJ. The sign of a great DJ is one who plays for the crowd not to the crowd. Recently we had a sixtieth birthday party for my husband. Most of the guests were similar in age so the music of choice was primarily 80's rock. Prior to the event we sent a short note with song favorites and dedications. DJ Gregg took it from there filling the night with a playlist that everyone, of all ages, enjoyed. He played requests and did the dedications with appropriate timing and kept the dance floor hopping for the entire evening.

We have had numerous gatherings with family and friends in the past. Usually we just put on a "mixtape" style playlist for background music. Nothing beats a live DJ to amp up the party atmosphere.

JVE Entertainment Partners' Randy and Gregg were a pleasure to work with. The whole process was easy and worthwhile. We definitely look forward to using their services again for future celebrations. More...
