Misti injected the wrong muscle in my chin causing right facial paralysis. I cannot smile or speak correctly which is lovely for the holidays. I look like I have Bell's Palsy. I explained to her that I no longer have my DAOs injected because of bad experience. She assured me the chin would be ok... and perhaps it would have been had she injected correctly. Five days after being injected, the paralysis kicked in so I called to report. Misti was unavailable and the owner/manager wouldn't talk to me. The sweet receptionist told me she spoke with Misti and Misti told her to schedule me for the next day because she could "correct" it. I said I really want to speak Misty before driving all the way over there but never received a call. I requested she call me the next morning before the appointment so I could discuss the treatment plan, she never called. I called them and spoke to her finally and her solution was to inject the other side causing this Bell's palsy appearance on the left side to "even it out" ...??? 😳 when I disagreed with this saying that sounds ridiculous she suggested I do microneedling and massage. Mind you it had only been 6 days at this point and dysport / Botox should not be manipulated or"corrected" for at least two weeks to allow time to fully take effect. Massaging the area 6 days in was a horrible advice and possibly could have caused it to spread more! I requested the treatment log to pass on to a friend that's an injector a week ago and still have not received it. so I'm stuck with Bell's palsy for the next 3 to 4 months thanks to improper placement/recommendations / injecting. Brooke is great! She’s always so helpful and sweet. Skye and Rhonda are always super friendly and knowledgeable. They really take the time to talk to me and make me feel like they really care about my needs. ...What a pleasure it was to work with this delightful team of dedicated service providers and personnel. From the welcoming introductions, to the quick information I needed in order to start my day, and all throughout the day, to the very end, they all continued to be friendly, helpful, and supportive which made this potentially awkward outcome an enjoyably wonderful experience. Skye, the manager, is a doll and so much fun to be around. But seriously the whole team functions so well and with NO drama! The reason I feel this to be a worthy review is this- every patient I saw was relaxed, and extremely easy going. I believe an excellent client experience starts with the dynamics of the staff. They are a well oiled machine, but more importantly, they are amazing with clients. And it shows.

Beautiful med spa and the friendliest staff I've ever encountered! I went there to get lip injections and since it was my first time, I had a lot of questions and concerns. The staff were so helpful and made me feel very comfortable while I was there. Dr. Amir was the one who actually did my lip injections and I'm obsessed wih the outcome.The small needle he used didn't even leave a mark. I had slight swelling the day after but it gradually went down. I highly recommend going to Juvia Med Spa especially for lip injections.
