As good as the reviews state, AMAZING. I highly recommend you visit Just Q'in for some of the best Barbecue in Cincinnati. The restaurant was very clean, the service was super friendly, and you definitely get a good value for the money. My wife had the chicken and raved about how good it was, and I had the pork and mild sauce and it was fantastic. I have really had a hard time finding good food in Cincinnati when I come there for work. I've tried several places and it has been hit or miss. Well, Just Q'in HIT THE MARK when we went there last Tuesday night for a group dinner. We ordered "Not The Last Supper" and an extra whole chicken, with some extra sides. Besides the food being amazing, the two team members that were working that night were great! As well, after reading the mission and the values of the restaurant that were on the table, I would have to say with conviction they exhibited those values. I can assure you I will be back for a couple reasons, the food was delicious, the team working exhibited the values of the company, as well as it's a black owned business. There are several moments that stick with you for a lifetime; i.e. birth of a child, school graduations, etc... My first meal at Just Q'in will easily go down in history as one of my best meals ever. The "Brisket is Life" shirts the staff was wearing and the nod of approval when I chose fatty over lean were foreshadowing for what was to come. Words cannot do the brisket justice, at least the words i can come up with. I'm no brisket expert but sometimes you have the realization that what you have in front of you is exceptional. Usually I enjoy brisket when the fat and meat are eaten together but even the lean parts can hold their own. The way the smoke flavor permeates the meat is a sign of a job well done. I found that the accompanying BBQ sauce, while good, takes away from the love and care that went into the beef.Clearly I'm a fan of the brisket but as if that wasn't enough for high praise the sides are exceptional as well. The mac 'n cheese is easily one of the best I've had. While it has the flavor of the classic southern american style it isn't overburdened by oil and richness i usually find in BBQ joint mac 'n cheese. I would easily come back to this restaurant for the brisket and mac'n cheese alone but the greens and peach cobbler i had were honorable mentions as well. The ribs (Adam as they're called here) were top knotch as well. The cook was superb, flavor on point, and with just a touch of their BBQ sauce just right.Not only one of the best BBQ spots I've been to, but easily one of the best meals I've had in the greater cincy area period.
