Happened upon Tara at her pop-up pie shop in Nordstrom Palo Alto. After tasting the Lemon Creme ended up taking home 2 Lemon Creme Pies and a brownie. All were amazing! Lemon Creme was sweet and creamy but not too tart with a perfect graham cracker crust. Brownie was chocolaty and chewy like a brownie should be - not caky at all. Wow, that was delicious. I got a couple of lemon meringue pies with a friend - she gets one, I get one, but I'm considering telling her I only got one and never got hers! How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Creating the perfect menu means listening to my clients needs and determining their palate. Ensuring that I am able to capture my clients vision is my responsibility and duty as a caterer.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating meals that make my clients say mmmm mmmm. Creating dishes that feed the soul is what I absolutely love about catering and owning a restaurant.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My goal was to always work fir myself. Working for my own company enables me the opportunity to serve my clients without feeling like I’m breaking the rules. I continuously think outside the box, that’s why owning my own company is a must.
