Julia is an amazing person. Her energy is calming, healing, warm, and compassionate. It is clear she cares about people and even more about supporting them however she can. Aside from her character, she is a gifted with massage and truly transfers all of that energy with her touch. Her practice is size (plus size) and Deaf friendly. Julia is amazing at what she does! I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and my hormones have been all over the place. I was having a horrible day-feeling anxious, stressed, and hopeless in my pregnancy, I had to look for some relief. I contacted Julia, she was able to quickly accommodate my needs and get me in. I was due for a well needed massage, and she did a wonderful job, she even rubbed my belly for a few. Julia is an exceptional Healer & Artist in all of fields: massage, body painting, reiki healing & photography. I was given a job (also a gift) for the body painting through the video interview by Global Deaf Women with Julia. I never met her prior to the body painting. I was nervous to experience her to paint my body, in a vision of colors, designs, etc.  The result was blowing my mind away. I discovered the power of womanhood within me through the colors of paintings and characters on my body. I was in deep awe that I couldn't find words to describe how powerful I felt. Colors were so vibrant, beautifully blended, I certainly looked like a goddess of fire, forest, ocean, sun in its sunset and sunrise. I even looked like Cleopatra whom I always admired in the icon of her legacy.  Body painting work itself plus the photography took almost 7 hours. She took great details capturing the essence of my soul. I was amazed how relaxed I was with her, considering that I was naked, I forgot I was naked, I forgot the length of time, I enjoyed every second of her energy. Julia has a way of making me feel comfortable and beautiful. Not only that, but she was able to follow my visions into the reality of art that I desired for my body. From there, I knew I wouldn't hesitate to use her again for the future connection. Good enough,  I recently had her for reiki/massage. At this time, I went through a difficult time and I knew it was time for the reiki healing and massage. Julia wrote a letter, handwritten letter in her words (after the reiki/massage she did for me) that surprised me, she was able to sense my emotions through her third eye, heart, hands and intuition.  I was deeply moved and touched by her words. She saw the wounds and at the same time, she saw the light within my soul. Julia managed to remove the whole stress of my tensed body and healed it with her amazing techniques of massages and reiki. I was fortunate enough to have a session with Cam outside under a full moon, and as the sun set hummingbirds were buzzing by. Just incredible. She makes you feel very very safe. I bought a gift certificate for my fiance and we finally made it to Julia in Longmont from where we live in Estes Park.  Julia performs the massage in a front room in her home, which has comfortable decor and relaxing ambience. As my fiance puts it, " Julia made me feel relaxed and at ease from beginning to end, I didn't want to get up when we were done. Visiting Colorado from Rochester, NY. I have had massages in Honolulu, Rochester and now Colorado which was the best massage ever.  I felt so relaxed even I was tense up due to a breakup. I'm delighted to write a review about Julia's massage! I've gone to her at least 5 times, and she never ceases to whisk me away to the glorious and floaty realm through her massage. Her touch is very relaxing and firm when needed, and her massages always seem so short although they last for a long time! That's how good she is-I'm always sad when the massage is over. I never look forward to the "tap on the shoulder" saying it's over. :) Her studio has a very calming effect, and it makes driving from Denver for a little over an hour worth it. If I could afford it, I would see her every month! One day, I will! Her prices are fair and reasonable, for what she includes in the massage package especially the one-on-one attention in a quiet environment. The bonus is that she is Deaf like me and knows ASL, making communication seamless. The communication barriers can cause tension for Deaf people, so to remove that factor makes the massage environment even more relaxing and respectful. My favorite part of her massage is when she massages me with her feet-it is firm yet gentle, exactly how I like it. By far and hands down the best massages I have ever had. After 5 surgeries on my neck and spine, the only treatment for managing my pain had been a never ending supply of pills that only hid the pain until they wore off; then take another. But after the first time Cameron worked on me, the lasting relief from the muscle cramps and spasms was so much better, I no longer needed the drug stupor to get through the episodes. Her massage goes far beyond just relaxation. (Which is a wonderful "side effect") The knots in my muscles retreat for far longer than any muscle relaxing drug has ever been able to provide. She is able to detect the areas that need focus and I am able to leave virtually pain free and remain so for days. I use her regularly and will continue to do so.....she's THAT good. More...

Cam is so wonderful, I'm not even sure how to express it in words! First of all, she is Deaf like myself which is huge for me - I had never really gone to any massage therapists before her because I always felt uncomfortable about experiencing a communication barrier in what I foresaw as a very intimate situation. She is a good listener, and has such a warm, sweet spirit/nature about her. Cam is also very respectful and understanding about personal boundaries, stages of dress/undress, etc and clearly explains everything beforehand, which was so helpful for me the first time I had a session with her (I believe I've had 3 or 4 to date so far). Her studio is so gorgeous and unique and calming! I love the stained glass door she has on the front, and the story behind it. I also adore her dog!! Of course she would not have the dog impose on any person or session without their invitation/consent, but I was so thrilled to be able to play with him during my last session :) The massage itself is extraordinary. I have no idea how she does it, but she always sends this radiating pins-and-needles sensation down my arms and it is sooooooo good! Her movements are so firm and smooth and continuous, and she is just beyond talented at what she does. I wish I could see her all the time! Wow! I am not sure how to express my gratitude for the two hour, four handed massage I just received from Emily Huber and Julia Cameron Damon. I will do my best. The massage I was just given was incredible on many levels. First the energy of the two therapists was palpably flowing through me. As their hands touched me, I not only felt touched by their hands, but by the energy moving between them, through me. Also, they complimented each others style quite well Emily with her deep, specific pressure, and Cam with her firm, fluid motion. It was amazing. This review is long overdue! I should have posted something after my first visit and after each visit there after. I received a holiday gift certificate to see Cam, and who wouldn't need such a treat after the holidays. I admit to being hesitant, I have hypersensitivity due to Fibromyalgia and usually walk away feeling worse, and for days after a massage, because of it. I had so stressed out muscles and extreme tightness in my back, neck and arms. In addition, my hips were killing me, making walking a hard task. I went to Cam and explained to her my pains, my limitations for pressure, and past experiences. She was so thoughtful, she explained to me the techniques she would use, what she would focus on and she checked in with me to make sure everything was alright. I walked out of her home studio feeling like I had a new body! My pain and tension was lessened and I didn't suffer any pain hours or days later, like I had in the past. I truly appreciated her willingness to listen to me, the client, and do what was best for my needs. I continue to see her as regularly as my busy schedule allows, and if I could I would be there weekly.Her massage, is great therapy for both mind and body and keeps me on track with my busy schedule and it's always a rejuvenating experience. I recommend her to everyone I meet, even if they don't live close to her studio. She is worth the distance and peace of body and spirit.
