I'm not sure where to begin. Â For those just interested in reading a brief review, all you need to know is Jones Photography Company is the way to go. Â Period. Â The End. Â For those that want to know why we chose them, continue reading.We first met Julie and Jonathan at a bridal show in August 2016. Â We had attended a few shows like this earlier in the year and hadn't really found a photographer for our June 2017 wedding that we connected with and loved their style of photography. Â That was until we met Julie and Jonathan. Â For my now husband and myself, it was so important for us to find someone we connected with and felt comfortable with taking photographs of us. Â Neither of us like to be in front of the camera. Â There is this ease about the two of them that makes you feel like you've known them forever. Â Julie is warm, friendly and I discovered on my wedding day, extremely comforting and calming. Â Jonathan's humor and sarcasm were right up our alley and made shooting so fun.Both our engagement photos and wedding photos were taken by Julie and Jonathan. Â We chose the Point Loma Lighthouse for our engagement photos. Â What we didn't think about was that we were shooting on Veteran's day weekend which made the Lighthouse a hotspot for tourists. Â You would NEVER know because they did an unbelievable job editing out all the surrounding people in our photos. Â It appears that we were the only ones there. Â I've posted a few. Â We received all of our professionally edited engagement photos within 2 weeks of shooting. Â The turnaround was perfect for us who were eager to see them.Julie and Jonathan absolutely captured our wedding day beautifully. Â I can't stop looking at our photos. Â Julie's attention to detail on the details of the day and Jonathan's expertise in wider angled shots gave us a variety of views. Â LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!Julie is very responsive and attentive to your needs and is overall just a wonderful human being. Â We are so, so very lucky to have stopped at their booth. Julie photographed my wedding and these are some of the most favorite photos I have!! Not only do I love the photos, I loved having Julie as part of my wedding day. She is really laid back and has a calming and loving disposition so I never felt stressed or rushed through the photo process. She captured my husband and me, our fiends and family and all the details of our wedding day with love and attention to detail. AND she deceived the photos quickly, including sneak peeks a week after the wedding. Julie is amazing! I am someone who really dislikes being photographed, but I needed a headshot and Julie came highly recommended. She immediately put me at ease. Being someone who feels self-conscious in front of the camera, I am surprised to say I had fun. But I did! I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to pictures of myself so I expected to find one shot that I liked, but I was so happy to of had several "favorites " to choose from. Julie is the best! She is such a pleasure to work with and is always up to do what it takes to get the shots you want. She is passionate about her work and does an amazing job getting to know you first so that she is able to capture your personalities in beautiful images. We hired Julie to do our wedding and when it rained, ruining our chance of doing outdoor photos as we dreamed, she offered to schedule another day with my husband and I to get the shots we wanted! Since then Julie has shot several of my friends weddings and they all loved her and the photos. I'd recommend Julie to anyone that wants a professional with personality. More...

I can't say enough about Julie Jones not only professionally but also personally. I am the person who hides from the camera and only ends up with scenery pictures. (no selfie stick thank you!) She actually made me look like I knew what I was doing!! I felt instantly comfortable with her and actually had a great time doing something that usually terrifies me. Julie Jones is amazing! I have a hard time being relaxed during picture taking and that shows in the end result. But not with Julie! Julie recently did a maternity shoot for us and we love the photos. She inspires you to be yourself, get caught up in the moment and forget she is watching, shooting. I've known Julie for quite some time. She is a beautiful soul with a beautiful smile, which of course allows her capture the most beautiful things through the lens of her camera. I have to say one of the best parts of our wedding was not only the images she captured for us, but the fun we had doing it.
