This place is always amazing! The staff is always so kind and courteous. Joe's is always clean. my husband and I like to go and enjoy sitting on the patio in the winter time when it's not super hot. Food: Always great! They've recently made a few new additions to their menu. This time, I opted to leave my usual pulled pork sandwich to try the jackfruit sandwich with spicy slaw. It had such a great combination of flavor with the new "gold" BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese has a delightful crumb topping that reminds me of chees-its and it is my go-to side. However, the corn bread and beans are also excellent.Wait: Prepare for a wait and be patient! I really enjoyed eating here. It is a cafeteria style restaurant where you place your meat order, and then move through the line collecting sides, and dessert, and by the time you hit the register the meat will come out for you. They and a station for filling drinks, and gathering extra bbq sauce as well as other common mix-ins like onions, etc... and a variety of booths and tables for seating. There was also an area outside with picnic style tables where you could eat.Aside from the atmosphere, the food was also very good. I enjoyed the brisket, and pulled pork most. The ribs and chicken were about average.
