I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California working with both couples and individuals, while also running groups on the topics of codependency, boundary setting and assertiveness. I take an integrative approach with my clients that incorporates elements of attachment theory (the way we connect with and establish safety with others), emotionally focused theory (working with the adaptive potential of emotions) and experiential processes.
I place great value on the therapeutic relationship and will strive to earn your trust while fostering a relaxed, empathetic and supportive environment. I take a collaborative approach with my clients and will work at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed or just feeling stuck in your life or in your relationships, I will seek to better understand your unique challenges first, and then work with you to gain balance and obtain happiness in your life and health in your relationships.
