DELICIOUS!! We ordered a bit late around 7:20pm online through Grubhub. We got the 2 meat dinner, the kids plate with a side of brisket & peach cobbler. .. after reading the bad reviews I was a bit uneasy but let me tell you it was the perfect cowboy dinner for my daughter & I! It looks simple but the meat, beans & coleslaw have so much flavor! All the flavors come together perfectly even the toast bread with butter was good. The vibe I got from this restaurant was home cooked bbq!! We had it delivered to our house it only took about 25 minutes. Great place to eat! Will definitely be ordering from here again only next time I am secretly going to put the food on my own plates, serve to my family as if I cooked it all myself & take all the credit lol jk. More...

Road trip from California to San Antonio with a stop in Lubbock. A local recommended J&M and off we went. I've been craving real Texas BBQ for way too many years so I had high hopes. As always, I'm never disappointed with the food or service. They are the real deal smoke BBQ and their sides are better than any of the other places here in Lubbock. We also order take out sometimes, as well as call in for delivery. Their delivery is always fast within 3o minutes. J&M has 2 places in the Lubbock area. We actually went to both. The first one turned out to be an express restaurant. You know, where you drive through and pick up your order.
Which is cool but not what we were looking for. We wanted sit down. So off we went to the main restaurant. Boy we're we glad we did. We got there about an hour before closing. Wifey ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with mac and cheese as a side. I had the pork ribs, fries and coleslaw. The ribs are to freaking die for. Tender, falling off the bone good. Mesquite smoked meat and their sauce was just the right combination of sweet and tangy. The ribs had quite a bit of bark which I love. Their fries are seasoned and coated and arrived fresh out of the fryer. Excellent! The coleslaw was good also. Mama had ordered the large chopped brisket sandwich and she loved the flavor and quantity of brisket. The mac and cheese was excellent on its own. For desert we ordered a pint of cherry cobbler. We brought it home to eat but haven't yet tried it. I have no doubt though it will taste fantastic.
Service was quick, the folks there very friendly.
This is a great little BBQ place. We highly recommend it if you're in the Lubbock area.

Well, we went to the one on 79th and Slide first but they were out of Brisket! So we went to your place on 34th and we both had the 2 meat plate, we had Brisket and Ham with Beans potatoe salad and toast, and it was all delicious! The staff were friendly and service was great.
