Jenn did my makeup for my wedding as well as most of the ladies that were part of my big day. I was thrilled with the flawless coverage and my makeup never budged. Between my trial and the day of, I changed my mind on what I wanted. Jenn was able to go with the flow and perfectly executed my vision. Each of my girls also looked flawless and were able to make requests based on their own style me and comfort levels with makeup. Two have already asked for her info for their own weddings. This review is long overdue as I got married in early October, but I can’t say enough about Jennifer! Whatever her secret recipe is for lasting makeup, it’s a miracle! I got married in the morning so I really put this to the test. By the time I went to remove my makeup that night, it looked like it had just been applied. I was blown away! My mother doesn’t typically wear makeup but she wanted to make sure you could really see her eyes, since she wears glasses, but didn’t want to over do it. What Jennifer did was incredible! She knew exactly what to do. My mother’s sisters kept staring at her, amazed at how beautifully her eyes were complimented by the makeup. On top of all of that, she is truly a sweetheart! Jennifer did an amazing job with both my makeup for my wedding on 9/30/18, and my sister/Matron of Honor's makeup. I went into our initial trial with a few photos/ideas, and she then asked for my feedback and was very open and receptive to any adjustments I wanted. She not only took the time to adjust my makeup accordingly, but took photos as well as notes. She later sent me a "recap" of what we did and the adjustments we had made. I booked her for my wedding soon after and felt confident doing so, between her personality and makeup skills. I should add that this was after the makeup artist I had previously hired months prior backed out less than two months before our wedding date, after a rushed trial where I was not comfortable with the result and feedback/adjustments were not well received. So Jennifer really came to the rescue! I was lucky to find her thanks to a friend tagging me in a post of hers in a wedding group, and was thrilled with my makeup on my wedding day. I felt so beautiful & confident and got many compliments. My sister, who does not regularly wear much makeup and wanted a more natural look, also loved her makeup. Jennifer is very talented, as well as sweet and fun to be around. She also worked very quickly & efficiently on a pretty tight day-of schedule, while still doing an amazing job. When I started my search for a wedding make up artist, I was extremely self conscious to go to anyone because of a lifelong struggle with terrible skin. I've never wanted to have someone "see" my skin without my usual cover up routine, as I struggle with both dry and oily skin and large pores that make me feel uncomfortable to be in public naturally. But Jen changed this for me. Not only did she jump right into my rescue to set up a trial appointment just 3 months before my wedding, but she really made me feel better about my skin and even took the time to educate me about what products I should and shouldn't be using, and what style make up applications will give me the results I am looking for! After the trial, she followed up to see how I felt about it hours after the application and if it was still giving me the results I was looking for! I was blown away that after 8+ hours, my face wasn't getting "shiny" from oily skin and my eyeliner wasn't smudging all over my eye lid, like it does when I do my own make up. It was a dream come true and EXACTLY what I needed for my wedding day! We had some back and forth leading up to the wedding to make sure we were both on the same page of some of the slight changes we were going to make and she was with me every step of the way. Jen and her assistant were prompt on the wedding day and fit right in with my bridal party and family! Once again, making everyone feel comfortable and laughing with us as we got ready for the rest of the day. They were even able to accommodate last minute requests for a couple of family members that changed their mind and wanted to have their make up done (life savers!) last minute! When I walked down the aisle, I had never felt more beautiful and more confident to show off MY skin. And even better, my husband was SO happy, that even with my make up professionally done, he still saw "me" at the end of the aisle - the exact look I wanted on our wedding day :) And once again, not only did my make up last 8+ hours, it lasted twice that amount of time AND through an outdoor photoshoot in the rain at our Venue!!! Jennifer and her partner Natalie did incredible work for my best friends’ wedding. They were on time, tidy, professional and made us all feel (and look like) a million bucks! Jennifer was accommodating and worked efficiently. While sitting in the makeup chair, not once did we feel rushed! She made us feel relaxed and brought serenity to the room. Jennifer did my makeup for a boudoir picture shoot. She was fantastic and very professional. I felt so lovely with the way she did my makeup and hair. She knew how to accentuate the positive and give me a dramatic look for each pose. The way she styled my hair was amazing since I have short hair. She also had a calming way about her that decreased any tension I had. I would have her again in a heart beat. I personally didn't work with Jenna for my sister's wedding, but she must have been so prompt and professional that my sister was almost instantly in love after my suggestion. Both of my sisters were in the wedding party at Ashland, the bride and the maid of honor. Jennifer has a way with makeup! She came to help with prom make up, and everyone left with a beautiful glowing look. I asked for a natural look and she nailed it. I loved what she did so much and she was so helpful by explaining each step on how to apply the products. Also, she knows her brands. She matched my skin perfectly and recommended some of my favorite products that I use everyday. She's so fun and brought smiles to the whole room. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
