Describe your creative process.
My creative process begins with a clear idea of the look and feel the client is hoping to accomplish, which comes from a detailed consultation with the client. I always spend a few moments visualizing how the desired look and feel could manifest visually. What feelings should the design evoke? What should the design convey at first glance? These visualizations help me choose appropriate fonts, colors, shapes, etc. I then begin by typing any and all copy needed for the design, and organizing the layout. From there, the process flows naturally from years of experience. The goal is create a professional-looking design that is balanced, conveys an appropriate message, and inspires an emotional reaction and connection with the target audience. Typically, for all designs except for logos, I create a single design for the client to alter and request changes to. When designing logos, several options are presented.

What do you love most about your job?
I love creating something that didn't exist before. I love thrilling my clients with a design that meets and exceeds their expectations. I love connecting with others. I'm a very visual person, and love beautiful things. I love interior design, I love beauty in nature, I love human connection. When I design, I enter a non-physical space that elevates my mood and connects me with positivity.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My older brother, eight years older than me, trained me in graphic design when I was a senior in high school. He has always been such an inspiration to me. He is absolutely oozing with talent (singer, songwriter, guitarist, pencil artist, photographer, and master marketer). We've always had so much in common, and over the past 22 years, we have collaborated on countless projects from graphic design to music - opening for many headlining country artists. We've worked on photo shoots together; I was his stylist, talent scout, and stager. The creative process in any form is absolutely intoxicating to me and I enjoy it immensely. I enjoy setting my own hours and spending time with my three kids.

I live my personal and professional life in a manner that allows inspiration to flow, which in turn reflects in my ability to create just what my clients need. My designs tend to be clean, balanced, and very visually pleasing. I'm also great at helping clients determine their needs if they are unsure.

Yes, most projects are completed remotely. Consultations can be done by phone, zoom, or email.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Whereas projects are done remotely, there is no risk of transmitting COVID-19.
