I absolutely love Stephen! He was so much fun to have taking pictures of my husband and I on our wedding day. He always had a smile on his face, and came up with awesome shot ideas. What I loved too, is he would get the little kids' attention in family photos at the wedding by creating funny noises. He truly made the big day something to be remembered. Stephen was our wedding photographer and I can honestly say that we were blessed to have him! He kept everyone in line, knew so much about posing and was quick to get everyone and everything perfect for us. He put my veil in and he cut all the weird loose strings from my dress. If you are looking for the best of the best, you have found him!! Stephen Johnson is absolutely amazing!! I can’t even begin to express how grateful we were to work with such a professional photographer! Not only did he take all of my stress off of me on our special day but he was incredibly patient. We were behind on our photos since it took a little longer to set up the venue and he didn’t pressure us to hurry or anything like that. He was super patient and took some additional pictures of my husband and the boys while we got ready! Not to mention his photos are to die for! They are gorgeous and very stunning! Stephen and Jeanene Johnson at Jeckyl Photo are absolutley fantastic at what they do!! Stephen did our engagement photos and made us feel completely at ease. He has such an eye for fun and artistic shots or whatever your style may be--he can work with everyone and cater to your needs. I've been doing makeup professionally for 14 years, and In that time, I've only found a handful of photography companies I feel truly comfortable referring my clients to. There is so much personal preference, that style and technique is more about what fits your needs. However, professionalism and and business ethics should be equal across the board. Unfortunately, many companies, both large and small, intimate or more corporate--truly fall short in the area of customer service. Dedication, initiative, interest, and passion are lacking in so many of the options out there and frankly--you won't know you've got someone who isn't giving you their best, until it's too late. Jeckyl photo is honestly an incredible experience. I'm not event the client, and I can report such incredible satisfaction from every one of my clients who has ever chosen Jeckyl. While I've referred many many people, I recently sent passed their info to my soon to be sister in law and I plan to book for my wedding next year. They are a fantastic mix of tradition and modern, without the photojournalistic spin we have all seen over and over by now. Don't get me wrong, they capture those moments every one pins on their wedding inspiration board, but you'll get something fresh. Fresh, while feeling so elegant. The subject almost jumps off the page. I have been so inspired by this company to not only improve my HD makeup Artistry, but my realistic approach to makeup. I have really fallen back in love with flawless makeup that looks like skin, no matter the coverage. I have upped my bridal game, so much, from the time I've worked alongside Jeckyl. It's always just a fluke, I continue to see them as they seem on fire, and every time it's a giant relief and a true sense of excitement. Relief, because I know this is s true professional, who will respect my work and recognize its level of talent, but more so excitement, because I know the bride and party has a group of vendors who are inspired, excited, and ready to work together to give them the very best. In my opinion, photography and makeup should consider one another, and share ideas, questions, concerns--etc. The photos I've gotten from my clients who have shot with them, are some of my favorites and most beautiful. I have so many photos, from photographers of varying costs, popularity, age, experience, size, etc. It's astounding how many are listless and truly sub par, or downright bad. This is a true gem. I couldn't be happier with the photos I received for my engagements, bridals, and wedding! Jeckyl Photo is amazing at what they do! They beautifully captured every moment of my big day and turned it into a fabulous story with a slideshow. There is no need for a videographer...the slideshow Jeckyl created for me from my wedding day is absolutely perfect, and I'm able to relive my big day every time I watch it! They even added some video content in the slideshow from my first dance and reception! AND, the wedding album and picture guest book Jeckyl created is so perfect - I have both albums on my coffee table as decoration, and everyone that comes over always looks at them and are amazed with the quality of work in the albums! Probably the biggest thing I LOVE about Jeckyl is how they add amazing features to photos to give a more dramatic or couture look! Jeckyl brings a graphic design aspect to photos that is definitely something you can't find with just any photographer! Also, I LOVE that I didn't even have to think or prepare anything for the days of shooting of my bridals, engagements, or formal wedding pictures...he knows what to do, how to pose you, what facial expressions you should make and everything else that makes for a perfect photo shoot (and effortless photo shoot for those being photographed.) I can't express more how happy I am with all of my pictures from every moment of my engagement to my big day. My husband and I are BEYOND happy after Jeckyl Photography handled our engagement photos, bridal portrait, and wedding day. Stephen had many helpful suggestions for this "first time bride".... He even went to get me eyelash glue during my bridal portrait when my fake lashes were coming off! On the wedding day, I was very nervous but Stephen and his sweet wife/fellow photographer kept us on schedule and kept me calm. The icing on the cake was the reception... We booked Stephen J through The Pros, but I'm reviewing his service (as photographer for Jeckyl Photo) separately than our experience through The Pros.

I would suggest Jeckly Photo to anyone in the market for a wedding photographer. His work was beautiful- he did "photo magic"/retouching and effects on several of our photos and they are absolutely my favorites from the entire batch. The samples he has on his site, and on The Pros profile, are absolutely representative of the product you'll receive. Best of all, even the photos he didn't retouch are still great and getting framed. He is that good.

He was kind enough to speak to us on the phone before the wedding so that we could explain a little about ourselves (namely that we are both terribly uncomfortable in front of the camera and not very sappy, so no super mushy photos). He was totally fine with all of that, and was so awesome at the wedding. When I was admittedly quite awkward in the posed photos, he'd show me how to pose and give direction. He got great shots of everyone involved and seemed to magically be everywhere at once without standing out.

He was unfailingly polite, professional and did an amazing job. My only regret is not booking him directly through his company. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for amazing photos. Plus he had several photos up the next morning for me to see, which I was no at all expecting! A+++++!!! More...
