We hired Jim for a few different functions that we have held and his proffesionalism is beyond compare. Always very respectful of wants/needs of the customer. He is great at engaging a crowd, and is able to bring life to the party. Jim Crutchfield is a wonderful dj. He knows how to amp up a crowd and get Everyone involved. He is full of energy and a total people person. He's great a paying attention to detail and really making you feel special wether it's a simple backyard birthday party or a fancy event. He makes the best play list he can keep you dancing all night or simply entertain you through songs you never would have thought of. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I'd like to say that there's not one answer to this question. To keep a party dancing, it comes down to several things, including: Understanding the audience that your playing to (what type of music they enjoy), making sure there is variety in the music that's played, and even interacting with guests to provide the best entertainment possible.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I'm incredibly versatile when it comes to music. I whole heartedly believe that this is why I love what I do. My musical tastes include everything from oldies, top 40's, rock and roll, pop, and country, and more. This is what makes it fun for me to customize your experience to what fits the needs of your event.
What do you love most about your job?
For me, being a DJ feels a lot more like having fun than a job. I absolutely love what I do and music is a huge part of who I am. By being a DJ, I'm able to meet new people and help others create lasting memories through what I love the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As I've mentioned before, music is the biggest part of who I am. I'm inspired to have a career that's focused around my passion and live a life that brings the best to myself and others.
