We utilized Peter's polygraph service to help settle a difficult and sensitive family matter that had been troubling us for a couple of years. After researching polygraph services in the Sacramento area we settled on Javan Investigations. We are very glad we did. Just like all the other reviews we read about Peter, our experience was just as good. Peter was very professional, polite, personable and considerate. He was very good at putting us at ease under difficult/stressful circumstances. He did an excellent job explaining the process before he began the test and answered all our questions before and after the test. I am so pleased with Peter's work! When I called I was a little nervous because I had a situation at my son's school and because he was on the younger side of things (12) I felt terrible to have to go as far as getting a polygraph test done. My son is not perfect and recently has been telling some white lies and then something bigger happened at school to where a kid was giving specific details about something my son supposedly did. Its hard to believe a kid who recently has been telling lies (I know when he does because of certain things he does) but because this kid was giving details the school was having a hard time believing my son was not a part of it. Peter made the initial phone call easy. He was professional and kind. We drove 2 1/2 hours to get the polygraph test done and when we arrived he took the time to explain to my husband, myself and my son how the whole thing works. He explained things to my son in terms that my son could understand. He gave my son the opportunity to come clean and let him know that he could not get away with lying. We were in and out within 30 min or less. After my son passed he explained to him (as we also did) how the white lies needed to come to a end because as he gets older he can actually end up in jail for these bigger things that nobody can believe him on because of the smaller lies. My husband and I appreciated that so much because we feel that our son needed to hear this from other people as well and it helped to have Peter who is a private investigator (that's a big deal to my son lol) reinforce this. We felt no judgement at all. It was professional, honest, quick and he was understanding. He was even willing to go over the test with anyone who would have questions as long as I gave him permission. He emailed me the results. From there I forwarded it to the proper people at my sons school. I believe because we went this far and had a report from a licensed professional, the kid who was blaming my son had no choice but to confess his own truth that he was blaming my son for. What a relief!I would definitely recommend Peter. I hope we are not in a position to ever have to use his services again (no offense to Peter because he was awesome!)
