Went for the first time today and I so wish we had y’all in Cullman. The food was incredibly delicious. I tried the chicken and waffles and mom had a pork chop with fried okra and Caribbean rice and beans. I tried it all. Today was my first time eating at Jake’s soul food cafe. A friend heavyly recommended me to check them out. I ordered the 4 whole wings, Mac and cheese with collard greens and 2 cornbread muffins. All I can say is......IM GOING BACK! LOL. I literally bite my tongue, it was so good. No CAP! I am one happy customer. I also liked the welcoming- atmosphere and vibes. Nice and friendly. I visited Jake's today drove over 40 miles the greens taste like someone dropped a box of salt in them the mac and cheese didn't have no salt and the 2 thin pieces of pork chops didn't have any seasoning surely people are not go slap their momma for this food
