I highly recommend Jake Rooney’s!!! The food is delicious, ALL of it! seafood is always fresh and tasty! A great place to come with friends& family no matter what day of the week. Amazing servers as well. Comfortable environment and always looking for a better way to please their customers whom are also family!! As a local and a regular, tonight my take out order was mistaken. I had ordered a double order of the famous stuffed mushrooms, but received two stuffed Quahogs! Fear not! The staff was very quick to correct the issue and was apologetic. Even offering that I take the Quahogs at no charge. I agreed. And told them I would rate them. 5 Stars! This Quahog is the closest I have had to my Grandfathers home grown Wellfleet recipe. Though, maybe leave a few chunks ;) Best food, service and staff in town! More...

We enjoyed our meal so much our first night, we went back for a do-it-again the next night! Of particular note is their absolutely delicious French onion soup. Well after 4 years living on Cape Cod we discovered that place, and was a nice surprice, we went there to watch playing the Clayton Restaino blues proyect band to celebrate a birthday of a friend and we were so happy we did it because the place , food , service , and price was awesome . Went to Rooney's last night for dinner. Was an awesome experience! The restaurant was busy but I got seated right away. The Saturday night music was really entertaining and had the whole bar and restaurant singing along! I ordered the sizzling fajitas which tasted amazing, and came out of the kitchen still steaming . My grandpa ordered the swordfish tips and told me they were 5/5. Definitely loved the atmosphere as well as the staff - the hostess and our waiter were both super friendly and professional. I'll definitely be back this summer for Dinner as well as to try the Happy Hour! More...

Was hungry and was looking to eat simply some chiken and mash potatoes,When i came inside i was approached and they said they will make some for me. . I do not know if they had that on the menu but they wore kind enough to fix me a grilled chicken breast and serve it as a sandwich with lettuce tomatoes mayo and have a little boll of mash with it just as i asked. Was down the cape visiting my parents and my father recommended stopping by Jake's. It looked like a little hole in the wall but was very nice and cozy inside.
