I had my hair done by Grace today and I had an incredible experience! Grace was kind, relaxed, and asked me thoughtful questions throughout my time to make sure we were on the same page with my color and cut. If you are looking for someone to do balayage/blonding Grace is the best! My cut was also exactly what I wanted. My personal experience with this salon has been with KEVIN, I'll add his instagram name Kevuunskee_20 so you can check out his work! and let me tell you I completely recommend him to all my friends and family! I know he's going to take his time getting my hair looking GOOD! I'm Very particular about my hair! It's extremely difficult to find a hairstylist who meets your hair needs. He's professional, friendly and knows what he's doing. I get color, cut, and blow dry and I love his techniques, precision and advice when I'm changing my hairstyles. Parking is good. Not only is The J Anthony Uptown Hair Salon on Third a great, eclectic, funky, warm, and upbeat space - the staff are AMAZING! I was there this morning having my very first salon experience in what I would estimate to be about 6 years, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Now, I'm not hair adventurous but I knew I needed to find someone who could manage amazing color because I am so particular about it. Enter Anthony - I have, quite literally, never been happier with the color of my hair! She also listened to every issue I had previously had both with color and cuts, and addressed how she would approach my hair differently to make it exactly what I was looking for. And she did. At the age of 33 years old I have FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY found my artist. :) The rest of the staff was very friendly and they all seemed to be so at ease with their clients. none of the usual catty salon goings on which I found especially refreshing. If you are looking for high quality work for reasonable price (by the way they charge about the same as all salons in the area), you've come to the right place. Jess and Frank are tge owners and are THE BEST. They use one of the best products Keune. This line has ammonia free products which are perfect for my super sensitive scalp. Highly recommend.
