We love Kauai Island Weddings! From the initial phone conversation with Mike to the wedding itself, I felt I was being listened to and taken cate of. The communication for me was great, most things are done online, but they do remind you of the important things that need to be taken care of, like the marriage license. The day of, I felt completely comfortable with the photography and the ceremony performed by Hans was perfect for us; simple, but meaningful. We can't wait for the pictures, we had fun taking photos. They were very accommodating of our 1 year old as well and let us take breaks when needed. I would highly recommend this company. It was perfect, everything about it was perfect. They are so good to work with and will make sure everything is just right. Our wedding coordinator made sure that everyone in our group felt included since we had a big group (19 total people). The photographer helped make me feel relaxed & made the photo session fun for my Husband and I. We had a wonderful experience with Kauai Island Weddings and highly recommend them if you're considering a wedding in Hawaii.  They really take time to answer all your questions in advance over the phone.  The whole staff including the owners are eager to help and so incredibly friendly.  We were able to easily make changes - and pretty last minute - to our ceremony location and number of guests, no problem. The day of the wedding was seamless.  Courtney arrived with all our flowers and made me feel comfortable that she was taking care of everything.  Our musician, minister and photographers were just the best.  Such a beautiful heartfelt ceremony, and the music elevated it to another level.  We had such a fun time with the photographers and I'm attaching some of our images as proof.  Thank you to everyone at Kauai Island Weddings who made this the best day of our lives. Our daughter was married by Michael October 3rd, 2017.  Living in California and having Michael, Quinn and Fern coordinate the wedding on Kauai made things so easy for us and stress free. It has been one month, and we are still raving about our beautiful wedding!  The setting, Rev. Todd, the musician, and even the photographer all came together to make for a beautiful and spiritual experience.  Our leis and my bouquet were stunning; better than I imagined when I picked them out.  Unfortunately I was unable to preserve them but their beauty is forever ingrained in my memory.  Our photos were spectacular.  I made a slideshow for our friends and family and everyone was floored!  Our stay at the Inn was also great.  I want to thank the KIW staff for their help and patience with me.  There were some things I expected to be different, but what we had was truly wonderful and I would happily do everything all over again!      Mahalo, Charles and Kaevon Stewart More...

The whole crew went above and beyond our expectations! We were married by Hans on Shipwreck Beach at sunset. Hans provided such an amazing, loving and touching ceremony. The setting, flowers and music were perfect. The packages that they offer make it so easy. I am just thrilled that I found them. We just received our wedding pictures, which took my breath away. Fern, Michael & Quinn made our Wedding preparations and ceremony easy and comfortable. They helped us with the process from start to finish and everything worked out beautifully. We chose Fern to be our officiant and she worked with us to develop a beautiful custom ceremony that reflected our values and spirituality. Before our big day the entire team helped coordinate our marriage licensing appointment, catering options, cake designer and delivery service. We had rented a house on Anini Beach and Fern came to the house and we walked over to the beach to perform the ceremony. The ceremony itself was magical and everyone that attended was joyful and moved by how beautiful it was. I had a great wedding with KIW at Tunnels beach with Dave and Todd. Dave has an incredible talent for making the bride feel at ease in the moments before. He managed to calm me down and wrangle our family members at the same time who were bombarding me and about to stress me out with their pictures and last minute questions. Which might sound like a small task being only 4 adults, but our families have big personalities and all had different ideas about what should and shouldn't be happening in those minutes on the beach. He was able to politely encourage them to to stop and stand in their spots while Todd kept the groom company. I can't say how much I appreciate that! Dave and Todd truly went above and beyond to make the ceremony as easy for the bride and groom as possible. They were also extremely fun to work with during the photography! Hans and Courtney were also great to work with on the phone! I was really worried about rain and Courtney really helped ease my fears. I've had an amazing experience with all of the staff. My one recommendation is to get a final cost estimate before you leave for your trip, that way if there is anything unexpected, you can have that worked out before your vacation and wedding celebrations begin. You will receive an invoice right after you sign your marriage certificate, so you don't want any surprises on your wedding day! We have not yet received our wedding photos, so I cannot speak to the quality of the images, however, I know we had a great time taking them! More...

Our wedding in Kauai was amazing thanks to Kauai Island Weddings. They were so easy to work with and we liked that the Bride's Choice package included everything we needed for a reasonable price. We contacted them a few times just to set up the ceremony, make our selections and confirm that everything was all set. On the day of the ceremony we just showed up at the beach and we were ready to go. They sent 2 people - a photographer and the minister (who also took photos later). Our minister, Todd, was so nice and made us feel comfortable. The ceremony was lovely and afterwards we took photos with the group and with just us two. The whole package is 2 hours and that was plenty of time for lots of photos. They suggested poses for photos. Afterwards the photos were sent to us quickly and looked great. I also appreciated that they sent a gallery to preview the photos before the DVD arrived. Found KIW while searching for wedding locations in 2015 and came upon their website and really couldn't believe the pricing so I called them to see if it was really true! Mike called me back right away and gave me so much information, he said I was a bit early for reserving and advised me when I should be sure to make a reservation. I immediately made reservations with them the moment the wedding was a year out. Through the whole process they were always so helpful, they responded to all my emails in a timely manner and as the wedding was approaching they were sure to email me with all the last minute details and a checklist. When we arrived on 10/7/16 Courtney who was our wedding coordinator went through all the details and was sure to have everything to my liking. They helped me have my dream wedding and I am forever grateful to everyone. We did the package that included the stay at their B & B and our stay was amazing. The morning staff Hans & Johannes were always informative on things to do around the island and places to eat and provided us with fresh pineapple & star fruit each morning. We enjoyed everything about KIW from our beautiful wedding on Shipwrecks Beach to our stay at their B & B. We are already planning a trip back for our year anniversary and we are hoping to stay with Kauai Country Inn again. We just got married on the island of Kauai.  Michael and Fern were amazing!  What a wonderful way to have a wedding.  From the first phone call we made to them, they were always easy to get a hold of and very willing to offer suggestions and give ideas on how to make this wedding work.  They helped with making appointments for me to have hair and makeup done beforehand and made reservations for a special dinner after the ceremony.  They were such a wonderful couple, so pleasant to deal with before we even met.  They put us at ease with planning a wedding on a beautiful island.  I would recommend Island Wedding and Blessings wholeheartedly.  We had an absolutely perfect day thanks to their help.  THANK YOU!!! We called Kauai Island Weddings at 11 AM on 08/31/16.  4 hours later we had lei's, bouquets, a wedding license, an officiant, and two very professional photographers who were all ready to marry us.  I wouldn't normally recommend giving them only 4 hours to plan a wedding, but Kauai Island Weddings pulled it off, and it was perfect.  We got married on Lydegate beach per Courtney's recommendation (near our hotel), and it was only us on the beach that day.  It was perfect for pictures.  Courtney and Mike were very easy to work with; we are grateful for their services.  We definitely recommend Kauai Island Weddings to help coordinate all your wedding needs. Island Weddings and Blessings is the BEST! I would (and have already) recommended them to everyone! Not only did they take care of every single detail, they had back ups for weather, made sure there were enough umbrellas "Just in case" and had a back up spot to our original location due to lack of parking and a crowded beach. The back up spot ended up being even better (can you believe it can get any better on the beaches of Hawaii...it can!) and it was secluded and perfect. Just like we had asked for. Michael and Quinn arranged everything, took amazing photos for us and made sure everything was exactly how we dreamed it would be. We had a wonderful ceremony and everything went as expected. The entire process was made easy and pleasant. Moments after the wedding a double rainbow formed over the beach for what we in Louisiana call a lagniappe (a little something extra).

We were just married last Sunday 6/26/16!Mike was enjoyable and knowledgeable on the phone planning our wedding . I had a month to plan and it went very smoothly . Once here on Kauai I was in daily contact with him regarding weather, timing, and  letting him know we got the license ok . The only bummer was we didn't get to meet him in person , which I would've liked, but he was battling the flu . I was freaking about unpredictable north shore weather as we were marred on Tunnels Beach. We brought an umbrella and so did they just in case . The wedding , photos and weather  were PERFECT! and it started to rain as we were driving back to our hotel . We had a ukulele player which was a wonderful addition to the a ambiance ! The photographer was awesome and had us do some fun poses and dips !  I can't wait to see the photos The minister Todd was so caring and sweet and it shows that he truly loves what he does . My daughter and son-in-law had the most beautiful wedding at the Hanalei Colony Resort where Quinn arranged everything! Island Wedding and Blessings was so reassuring about the weather and all the details falling into place. I loved the interaction with Quinn, Fern and Michael. As someone who hates planning anything, planning a destination wedding could have been a nightmare but Michael and Fern were incredible! From the start Michael was very calm and got a feel for what we were looking for and gave suggestions and helped our big day be completely stress free and perfect! He found our dream beach to get married on and when things tried to go wrong he did whatever he had to to work around it and make it happen. He worked with the florist and helped us get the most beautiful flowers, made sure we didn't get unnecessary extras even if he lost out on a little money, and arranged for delivery/pickup to be as convenient as possible. He and Fern were very relaxed at the ceremony and made sure there were no hiccups with any of the specifics even though the winds were a little high. Every part of this special day went as smooth as possible! I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to be a crazy person on their wedding day! From the initial communication to the actual execution of the wedding, Fern and Quinn were outstanding. We had a pretty large group on the beach and I had quite a few requests in terms of setup, but they were very accommodating and incorporated everything! They also did a rehearsal for us (optional with an extra charge), which I recommend to anyone with a mid to large size group since it makes things smoother on the day of. Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to the staff at Kauai Island Weddings!! Everyone is so detail oriented which was such a pleasant surprise as I myself am a very detailed person. Mike really took his time to listen to what we wanted for our wedding and made helpful suggestions on how to make it even better! And Hans was so sweet and did such a good job coordinating our large group! We went with the Wedding & Lodging package.. I highly recommend doing that!! The Kauai Country Inn was such a peaceful, private, and relaxing place to spend our honeymoon!! Our room was so nice!! We wanted to stay forever! They also offer a really nice continental breakfast each morning that includes fresh local fruit! We really felt that everyone there made our wedding a top priority, you can tell they really genuinely care about each and every one of their weddings. Our wedding day plan was very clear and uncomplicated which was so refreshing, and took away a lot of wedding day stress! We got the add on of "getting ready photos" which were a really nice keepsake to have with our family and bridesmaids. All of our photos were top quality- they all came out so beautiful!!Our ceremony was so special- we did the Christian Hawaiian ceremony at The Plantation Gardens and it was so beautiful!! Rev. Todd really did a great job!! We really loved the beautiful garden location Mike helped us choose and the fact that there is a beach right across the street where you can take photos at after the ceremony. We felt that we got the best of both worlds with both the garden and the beach. All of our guest commented that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to!
