My husband and I recently just got married and and Evan was our DJ for our reception. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring him for your event! He was respectful, kind, considerate and overall just a great guy to work with. He had everyone on the dance floor and helped us make our night that much more memorable! Anytime we had a song request, he made it happen! He was very thorough in making sure that all his info was right, including making sure all names were pronounced correctly. When our wedding day was over, friends and family kept asking if Evan was a personal friend of ours because of how well we could get along and his kindness towards us all! Evan was our wedding DJ/MC and he was so awesome! We wanted an adult and kid friendly wedding and he gave us that and more. Everyone was up dancing all evening. I totally loved the fact that I was able to have a formal but not stuffy wedding where everyone was able to enjoy themselves. Highly recomend Evan, plan on hiring him again for future parties. Jason did our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with the result. We had karaoke in addition to his DJ services, and he did a great job with both.
Some of the highlights:
-Island Sound has a very good online program to allow for uploading requested songs and songs to stay away from
-Jason sat down with us for about an hour two weeks prior to the wedding and walked us through the whole event. He brought up quite a few things that we hadn't thought of for timing the dances, cake cutting, etc.
-His skill for feeling out the mood of the party and putting in music to match or to get people out on the dance floor was phenomenal. Everyone remarked at how good a time they had.
