Had to spend our 4th of july in the ER because my son was running high fevers, we were taken into a room quickly and two nurses were already there waiting for us. And the doctor came in not too long after. My son was not feeling good at all so he was crying most of the time but our nurse Travis was so great! He brought my son toys, coloring pages, popsicles and juice to help him feel better. He was also very patient which was helpful with a fussy child. More...

My 18 month old son fell off the bed on Fathers Day and split his forehead wide open, and the emergency room staff took such great care of him and us. I was a wreck and they were so kind and caring it made our first (of what I’m sure will be many, if he’s anything like his father) trip to the ER so much less stressful. I was transferred to IMC Emergency Department from another hospital. The staff welcomed me with smiles and encouragement. The emergency staff were compassionate, efficient, professional, and encouraging . I do not like emergency rooms, however, I felt more like I was waiting in a clinic office here. I had a kidney transplant almost 12 years ago when the location was at LDS hospital. My care was fantastic. Yet beyond the superb care, was how thoroughly I was taught about the whole process, as well as how to avoid germs, etc. In these past 12 years I have yet to talk to anyone who has been transplanted who knows what I know. I wanted to express my thanks for a recent hospital stay. I was admitted to the maternity ward with some complications in labor. Dr. Ibrahim Hammad was the first doctor to see me. It is easy to find horror stories related to hospital births and doctors; I'd like to say that Dr. Hammad was the opposite of all of those. He immediately intuited my unease at being in a hospital setting, and suggested my transfer to the hospital midwives. He was compassionate and kind. Please pass this thanks along to Dr. Hammad. I had a liver transplant in October. The Transplant Team is awesome. The surgery went well, though I don't remember much. The post transplant care was fantastic . The entire team strived to get me feeling normal again. The Nursing Staff on T10, are second to none. From the Supervisors to the Assistants, I couldn't have hand picked a more caring, hard working team. The other teams that took care of me, were also amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and my great experience staying with them. I was there for the birth of my 3rd child and ended up having to stay longer due to complications. I felt so taken care of and had all my needs met and more. The whole staff was friendly, and very attentive. The nurses were so sweet and true lifesavers.
