I can’t speak highly enough about my experience working with Chris. As a young adult, I struggled with substance use, severe anxiety, and poor self-confidence. As a result, my relationship with my family suffered and I felt like my life had no direction. Chris helped me create a foundation to build my life on. He helped me repair my damaged relationships, offered support while I was in college and through early employment, and helped me to identify my self-destructive patterns. I first worked with Chris Cotton & Inner Connections after high school and before I made the leap into college or a career. It was during a time when I was uncertain what direction I wanted to move in and a time when I was still learning a lot about myself. Chris helped to nurture my ideas & focus some of my passions all while creating a fun and relaxed environment. I grew a lot as an individual during my time at Inner Connections and ultimately I chose a patch for myself while working with Chris that has since turned into an exciting and fulfilling career and a very awesome life. I highly recommend Inner Connections for any individual, of any age, who is looking for guidance in their life. Working with Chris was a life changing experience for me. Before meeting Chris, I spent my adolescence and young adulthood searching for help yet struggling to find the kind of support that would lead to real change in my life. I was growing increasingly tired of the hold that depression and anxiety had on me and how this was affecting my loved ones. When I met Chris, I knew something was different about his approach and who he was as a person. He taught me how to do my own internal work, how to have better relationships, how to better understand patterns of behavior that didn’t serve me, and how to create a life I was proud of. I came to Inner Connections in hopes that I would be able to find a way out of a debilitating depression, re-discover some of my passions, and merely regain a little bit of clarity in my day-to-day existence. Chris gave me so much more, and I can sincerely say that most of the woes I had coming in are resolved after 5 months of work under his guidance. Now, most of our relationship feels like a bonus, as I continue to learn how to stay on track, learn new skills, and hone in on what really matters to me, all through the regular practice of moving away from my identity. Chris Cotton is an amazing life coach. He worked with our young adult son and with us individually. He is intuitive, clear and direct. He helped our son get on track, he helped our family dynamics and he worked with us as individuals to understand our strengths and weaknesses.
