In Session Toledo provides individual and couples counseling services. Clients seek our services for various life problems, including relationship issues, separation/divorce, depression, anxiety, difficulties adjusting, grief and loss, and others. We work with adults, age 18 and over.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being a counselor because I believe strongly in making one’s life work something that makes the world a better place. Counseling allows me to connect deeply with individual people and help them in their time of need.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for others for nearly 20 years in my previous career in Education. After re-examining my life priorities, being my own boss made the most sense. I enjoy the flexibility, autonomy, and even challenge, of owning my own business.
Couples Counseling
Couples sessions can encompass premarital, marital, or separation/divorce. Couples do not need to be married to seek couples counseling. I am welcoming to all couples in my practice; straight, LGBT, and non-monogamous. Couples counseling is quite different from individual counseling, but I will walk you through everything during your first few appointments.
Individual Counseling
Most of the individual clients I see have sought out counseling for one or more of the following: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment problems, traumas, and relationship difficulties. Generally, the first 2-3 sessions include getting to know you and pinpointing what the issues are. We will then create some goals for counseling together.
